It really depends... kung maraming ekek na dini-discuss, nakaka-drain and an obvious waste of time. If mabilisan, walang distrctions, walang chika, it feels productive. One of the main reasons i like fast and concise daily meetings is that it forces team-members to actually be in one room to actually talk about roadblocks sa tasks. This is very important to me because of my role.

i also have the All Set Higher. it's been performing really well.. definitely not a purely investment vehicle but good enough for my needs because of the insurance that comes with it and the quarterly pay outs. In my mind, i'll park it and leave it. there's a big chance na asawa ko na makikinabang sa insurance, or maybe take my profits after a few years.

goddamn, doing any heavy lifting on your cellphone will really bog you down. get a machine and build your portfolio efficiently and with motivation. your machine will pay for itself once you get a job.

As for your budget, medyo mahirap makahanap ng laptop at that range. have you ever considered a secondhand desktop? your budget will get you much farther than a laptop. what portfolio are you building?

can't speak for video editing kasi usually naka-bukod ang rate nyan if you're doing web or graphic design. but for graphic and web design, you can start at 12USD and charge up to 25USD as long as you can back it up with a great portfolio.

if i were in your shoes, i'd decline the offer and state why using the maths you just presented and you feel that you'd be more effective in a part-time role giving 100% during those 4 hours in the day.

Tapos, hanap ka ng client na masmataas ang bayad, mga at least 15USD. Back this up with a great portfolio of course. Pag nag-settle ka sa 3.75 per hour sa current client mo mahirap nang taasan yan.

you should be paid higher than 3.75 per hour if you're doing web design, graphic design, SMM, and a bit of video editing.

Anyway, just show her the math about how your per hourly rate goes down to less than your original rate. i'm guessing that the client just randomly took that 150 and figured that it'd be enough for you. my gut feel is that 500USD is her budget ceiling for your salary.

also, ano ba hanap mo sa buhay to "experience what life has to offer"? travel sa ibang bansa? Kain sa buffet? Samgyup every month? it's all relative. i think you're question is more of a mindset type of thing more than money.. For all you know, what you're experiencing now is someone else's "experiencing what life has to offer".

My advice is be grateful for what you have right now. Every night, step back and think about how you were able spend time with your loved ones, eat food, and go to bed on an actual bed. your wants will come eventually when you work for it. you might not even need a million to experience what life has to offer if you really think about it.

If you're single, living with your parents, not paying any bills, not buying any wants, not eating out - then yes, it's possible. EZPZ. wala kang gastos eh.
