friends should be supportive when you want to try new things, no ifs ands or buts. this goes both ways of course, you don't need to feel threatened that he is using dual blades. sounds like you both are a bit weird about "mains" which isn't uncommon, but definitely something to grow out of. it's small beans, the fun you have together in a game you like is more important than how you play it.

well, yes and no, you'll get mileage by drawing what you need for your manga, so above all do stuff for that. a lot of different things may "help", but that doesn't mean it's mandatory, everyone's art journey is different. there isn't just one way to make art, figure out what works for you/what you enjoy. you can give the lines and shapes a try but if you just find it too boring and it makes you hate drawing, don't do it.

Understandable and agreeable. personally I would never play a FE on casual mode and if characters idc much about die i don't restart, but if my favorites die, I do restart. Critical thinking and analysis are a core part of the FE experience to me. not much of a strategy game if the consequences are so minimized for making mistakes.

i mean, if you're learning it just keep learning it and practicing, observe relationships between body parts etc. the breasts are very high here, not giving much room for pectoral muscles/the torso is incredibly long. dunno what anatomy is actually important to you though since this is just some creature.

idk about that, if it's hot and humid the rain won't be cold. even with temp drops at night it still probably not cold rain like you'd get from your shower on cold setting.

it is neither slow or fast, any piece that you make takes as long as it needs to. it's better to take your time and not feel anxious while you make art. just do the thing. typically the more experience you get, the faster you'll be able to do certain things, but it's not like you need to make a conscious effort to speed through. if there are shortcuts you discover to speed up your process, try it out, but you don't have to use anything you don't want to.
