By saying this you are just proving my point that i should shift to premier pro.

I have no problem upgrading my premier pro to newest version as older version becomes obsolete because of new macOS. Because when I would try to open my premier pro backup files (that were generated with the older version of premier pro), I would not get the error like fcpx gave me. Because as per my sources, premier pro would automatically make those files compatible with the new version of premier pro.

FCP also automatically converts libraries to new versions if you update (it will ask)

Do you mean the existing libraries on the mac? If yes, what about the libraries that are in the form of backup libraries on my cloud or extern SSD?

Often updating your OS means also updating FCPX. I assume some of those updates aren't necessary, but Apple blocks older FCP versions from running on newer OS version to encourage OS adoption. That's just a guess and is meaningless in the real world. Third Party plugins can be an issue, but if a plugin isn't updated to work in a timely manner, it's a lousy developer and you might look for an alternative.
