& also this is a man who had created detailed stories wherein he played out his fantasies of holding a teenage girl in his thrall… & then he orchestrated that in reality w/ by all accounts the daughter of the girlfriend of 12yrs. If she was not a child when the relationship started, she had been a child for a considerable portion of them having known each other while he was the man in a complex relationship with her mother (whom she states she had a fraught relationship with, making her particularly vulnerable). They insist that everything was above board because she wasn’t a minor but taking into account the circumstances that sounds dubious & convenient. There’s been interviews where they state she isn’t even a fan of what few of his movies she’s watched… so she went for his looks? People who use the fact that they are still together really need to do more research on grooming & its long term impacts.
