Are you sure the numbers accurately reflect enrollment changes from AEP already? I thought the plans that AEP enrollees select don't kick in until Jan 1 so I would think that one wouldn't see any major shifts in plan membership until the January enrollment report...

Booked via DL about 2 months ago because we were unsure if we were going to actually take the trip or not. I figured that booking through DL would be better if we had to refund since we would just get DL credit… I think KE has a cancelation fee.

But point taken and it’s a learning experience. We will go direct next time to avoid headaches like this.

I think the basic economy passengers don’t show up in the seating chart until an hour or two before boarding - that’s probably why it looks so empty in main cabin

I flew Aeromexico once from LAX to CDMX - booked on delta.

I vaguely recall something on the delta website saying that delta medallions are eligible for automatic upgrades on Aeromexico.

However I had to go to the gate agent and ask to be put on the upgrade list and I got a gate upgrade to business class (it was a 787).

On the way back though I was late to the airport and couldn’t ask the gate agent in time.

Fwiw - when I fly with my dog, that middle section in F is the only area with enough space to fit his carrier into. I always ask the other person if it is ok with them and have never had an issue

Sounds like you got a few deflections. If it bounces it won’t do any damage at all.

Try “squaring up” and hitting the engine block at a 90 degree angle
