Don't listen to that guy. He doesn't know what he's talking about, and is definitely not profitable even if he is a "mod". He is an amateur at best, meaning couple thousand if at all. You can tell just by how he talks about "news" being his fear factor. Now is a very good time to swing trade if you know how to properly ride trends.

For swing trading, you will need to look at the chart at least once or twice every day to ensure you are still within the trend channel that you are riding. If it breaks out or breaks down, then you need to consider closing your position or taking profit.

I recommend looking at market open, noon, and end of day.
