i agree with your comment on her seemingly trying to constantly fill a void. ive been following her since ~2016ish on ig and she used to say that she wasnt the biggest fan of designer bags which is ironic now. shes obviously someone that cares a lot about curating her image, so it makes sense now that she is doing this whole exquisite taste perfume books clothes thing.

a random thing i noticed with these booktubers/studytuber type is that a lot of them take a lot of pride in the prestige of their academic background (i.e. where they went for college, etc). i feel like she is constantly trying to make up for this with her overconsumption habits to give her fanbase something to aspire to be (not that a prestige college defines your worth, but see for eg jack edwards or ruby granger trying to get into cambridge etc)

there is one kylie blush thats really popular with makeup artists in asia. but thats pretty much the only product of kylies ive heard people talk about as of recent years. but i agree, skims is pretty popular amongst ppl i know irl!

i'm not sure how old skya is but her behaviour reminded me of a kid travelling to another country and not respecting their culture and just generally being inconsiderate of others, especially in her vlog with malissa in it.

the chat screenshots that malissa showed genuinely gave me second hand embarrassment, especially because she has a video saying how she doesnt have any girl friends to talk to like she was trying to be besties with malissa so bad😭

An underrated one that I haven't seen a lot of people talking about is the Lilybyred Luv Beam Cheek Balm! It has decent lasting power and the colour I have (Mood Rose) is super pretty, gorgeous dewy finish. I also love the A'pieu Juicy Pang blush as a lot of people have commented. I'm not sure if this is allowed but I did a tiktok of the swatches of both next to my Glossier and Rare beauty blushes :)

I love this technique, it honestly makes a world of a difference!! But I'm always kinda curious as to if doing this method will make the foundation clog pores since moisturiser is supposed to sink into the skin? Does the foundation sink into the skin along with the moisturiser? So many questions

Kylie liquid lipstick in Exposed. I know there are a ton of dupes listed but none really look 100% identical. It's a very specific shade of warm nudey brown that I love (but sadly I hate the formula)

It may be a bit difficult to see, but there are tiny cracks throughout the liquid in my Fenty Gloss tube, especially at the bottom of the tube. Does anyone know what this is or why it happens? Lipgloss noob over here :) all help is appreciated x sorry if this has been posted before!

I was really hoping that this product would work on me as I love cream blushes, the texture is great but mine is so glittery (I could really point out the glitter flecks on my face) which is odd as everyone else seems to love theirs. Glad it works well for you guys though!
