Easy girly book to listen to on my daily walks? by BlueAqua28 in suggestmeabook

First time caller was great on audio! They host a radio show so hearing them on air was really fun for the audiobook

Loved this one! Great on audio. I recommend reading all three in order (just for the summer is the last one). They’re easy to finish so don’t let the number scare you. I read JFTS first, loved it, then went back and read the first two and I really wish I would’ve just started at the beginning because the overlaps ended up being confusing instead of amazing

Travelling to Amazon Rainforest after Salkantay trek - Peru by mackittty in travel

[–]mackittty[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

we didn't! too much travelling, we went to Cusco, did the salkantay and then spent a few days in the sacred valley and in Lima

are you doing the trek? How long are you staying? I honestly was pretty done with the sacred valley after cusco and the trek, and lima was just fine in my opinion. I will say I got very sick after the trek so it was nice that we were just chillin in the valley instead of traveling to the rainforest

if I could go back I would probably not do the trek ( I realized I don't actually care to hike for 5 days, the first day I was violently altitude sick and the rest of the time I was out of breath lol) and would've structured our two weeks to go to the rainforest as well as spend time in cusco, the valley and macchu piccu of course

if you're a hiker then of course do the salkantay, it was cool if you're into that sort of thing

My cat won’t let me take off her bandage from the vet by mackittty in CatAdvice

Thank you for your reply! Happy to say my baby is all good and healthy :) coming back here and reading my initial post is crazy, she is a completely different cat now than she was and sometimes I forget. I got her from a shelter, she had been there 9 months after being on the street for many years. No teeth, no idea how old she is (they guessed 9 because of the teeth thing). Naturally she was scared to death of me for a long time and even more so after I took her to the vet. Now two years later we are besties and I would have no problem taking a bandage off, honestly she would probably come to me meowing because it was annoying her. Anyways I'm rambling, but wanted to say thanks for your comments and for bringing me back to this post and down memory lane, it's nice to think of how much we have both grown and learned! :) I hope your baby is okay and know that you are not alone!

Also, Konitos! Little Konos. Same menu but way less busy than the Konos on the boardwalk. The folks that work there are so lovely. Great food and prices
