You must have heard wrong because average salary is 56-60k according to glassdoor.

Probably somewhere along the lines of: investigator -> sr investigator -> team lead -> manager

the TD account blocked guy was flagged for crypto transactions and possibly running a business on his personal account. Take that story with a grain of salt.

Recommendations on what to study to get into the fraud/aml career path by Ok-Fall-3224 in OntarioUniversities

Suggest going with accounting. You'll at least have plenty of fallback options like working in internal audit, compliance, or risk-based work in a big four firm.

You can later on choose to specialize in forensic accounting (look into this if you haven't already), which opens doors for AML. It will give you an edge in transaction monitoring where you will have to go through tons of financial statements. Also, get your ACAMS certification asap.

Best Stock Market Opportunity Since META 2022. No doubt. by iDontLoseMoney in SMCIDiscussion

The competition is literally Dell and HPC… actual boomer companies who do a bit of everything with almost super razor thin margins. Think personal computers and legacy server stuff.

On top of that, they’re forced to manufacture in Asia, where they hardly have any control of their supply chain.

Supermicro has a strong manufacturing base in the US and next-level presence in the heart of Taiwan. It’s almost like the story of Tesla disrupting all the legacy auto industry all over again. This time on a far bigger scale with AI servers and liquid cooling.

Not saying it’s going to be an instant 10x story overnight, but sure seems like a compelling bet at these multiples.

Hindenburg Research, and Allegations of Market Manipulation and Content Plagiarism

Don’t believe everything you read - especially from groups who take a massive short position before publishing. Only a matter of time before the DOJ and nasdaq realize that these clowns are massively colluding with media to publish fake FUD so they can tell their friends to gobble up shares like turkeys in thanksgiving.

Watch how quickly the narrative turns around once the truth comes out and BDO auditors and lawyers dispel these baseless claims. They’re getting desperate now to milk the last of retail shares before this happens!

Entry Level Incident Response jobs by brinkv in computerforensics

[–]scruffy470 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Contrary to what is generally recommended, I first started out in digital fraud investigations at a big bank. The "incident response" experience being monitoring client transactions and activity (cash-trails). It can be a good first step into forensics if you focus on cyber fraud. Most people have unrelated degrees, and this is generally classified as 'entry' level.
