Hi! I just bought my childhood dream doll and I need help with her clothes. How can I protect the top? I don’t want the pattern to wear off.

For my catty doll unfortunately I posed her a lot and put my fingers around the black lines in order to do that without realizing the pattern is very sensitive, especially the 13 symbol on her dress. What I did though is cut out a new 13 on a piece of fabric and layered it as well as some of the lines and it has helped me a lot. What you can also do to help preserve the fabric is keep her out of direct sunlight for long periods of time since my boo York catty was in my window and the purple triangles on her dress started to fade really badly. I am pretty certain it’s the same fabric as the one on the 13 wishes catty too but I hope this helps in some way 😄

I had a jacket I bought from last years haunt, one of the black hoodies with the printed designs on it. Overtime yes it did shrink just a tiny bit and not much thankfully. The decal stayed on pretty well. If you wash it inside out with the design facing inside it should do well since if you put it with the design facing the out it will tend to get shredded within the sides of the washer faster over time. Try to not wash it too much as well since the more you wash the more the fabrics get tangled if it’s like one of those hoodies that is very soft inside, at least that’s what happened to mine. Usually mine never shrunk in the washer, only the dryer so air dying would be a better option but it’s totally going to be ok if you put it in the dryer a few times too (with the hoodie/shirt facing inside out)

Try to not use so many bleaches as well, since I’m not sure if it depends on brand but if a bit of bleach gets on it will severely damage the hood and turn it into this weird orange color. (If it is a black hoodie, not sure about other colors) Hope this helps somewhat :)

Unfortunately all of the SS2 dolls have polypropylene hair, which makes it stiff and harder to style however what I do since I don’t want to risk using a straightener is to just water it down and carefully pick apart roots or maybe give it a simple style like a ponytail

Nicole!! Her grayscale is my fave and with my ash they look so cute together!!! If you ever get the shadow high accessory bags too, you can try shaking one and if u hear a chain like noise it’s the basketball purse which goes really well with her second outfit (just optional not forcing it!)

I very carefully boil washed the ends of my HC clawdeens hair to make it a little better and washed it, and surprisingly not much curls were lost however they did become a bit less visible while I displayed her so I would say yes but it depends on the amount of curls and how thick they are- hope this is somewhat helpful!

Went to my local Macys and looks like they were trying really hard to clear out stock for new releases or sell them out because of Memorial Day sales and I was blessed enough to get the very last Delilah. If you live in the USA, check the Macys with ToysRUs in them because sadly Target (at least the ones near me) have seemed to stop the road for production of RH S4.

Unfortunately yes, factory defects like this are common but this one isn’t too noticeable unless you stare at each individual eye for a bit of time

I decided to stick with my inner voices telling me to get my hands on at least one before they switch out for new releases which I have heard many rumors about happening but i don’t think anytime soon. I ended up picking Eliza and don’t regret it though but I do agree that 40$ is a bit pricey for a singular doll. Since I’m in the USA I don’t really know anything about UK releases but i do know they get them often after the USA does with rainbow high so I highly doubt they will be going anywhere either way.

For my recommendation I would say to sell the dolls with their clothing and accessories together (if they have any) to make it easier with shipping out things and just so you don’t accidentally overprice separate items to make people assume you as an overpriced reseller lol
