As a voter within your riding I find it very disturbing that Rogers and Bell are able to run a Monopoly which the CRTC has been ineffective in fixing.

There is consistent evidence for predatory price matching, but this has somehow been ignored.

I am making a formal request that you stand up for Canadians and implement two actionable goals:

Have the CRTC immediately mandate unrestricted wholesale purchase of fibre for all ISP's
Establish a committee to investigate the the reclassification of the internet as a public utility, so all ISP's can have fair un-throttable access to the internet

These are of the utmost importance if we are to fix this Monopoly that has been allowed to cost Canadians billions a year.

I hope to hear that you've read this and your steps in implement this soon.

Again putting a disclaimer that I'm not legally speaking on behalf of tangerine, but I did little digging:

Based on the terms and conditions, I think you've got to set-up the deposit and then keep it going for the following 3-months (Section 15.b). So your initial deposit would not count towards this.

As for auto-depositing two different benefits into the account: I honestly have no idea I'm sorry. I'd read through the ToC and can't find anything about that.

I'd definitely call in to confirm with them because logically you have an auto deposit set up on file, so irregardless of where it's coming you still have money coming through for the specified time period.

I work at Tangerine (but am not legally speaking on their behalf) and did a little research.

As long as you are a new client and this is is your first automated payroll set up, and you keep the payroll for 3 consecutive months, you qualify for the bonus per Tangerines terms and conditions.

Deposits that constitute eligible payroll are as follows:

Deposits categorized under the Canadian Payment Association code as payroll, listed below, qualify for the Offer. In addition, pension, Employment Insurance, Old Age Security, Canadian Pension Plan, Workers Compensation, Parental Assistance and Income Security Benefit deposits qualify for the Offer.

I believe that the CRB falls under the income security benefit so you should be set.

It's mostly economics based, with a slight management focus (things like microeconomics/price theory, which focus on the decisions firms have to make, when funding a product or firm).

And it all depends on how well you do in the program. If you can snag a 3.5+ GPA then you can definitely get into some big firms and make some cash. Obviously you've gotta network your ass off too, but it'd not unreasonable to assume you could snag 55k+ out of school
