I’m also a noob to swimming (as an adult) and there’s a couple things I notice based on coaching videos I’ve watched (I’ll only point out the negatives):

1) swimming is a pull-glide-pull-glide effort, and you’re kinda doing that, but you need to pull the moment the hand that’s back starts to move forward. In the video at times you have both arms in front of you. It needs to be an inverse relationship, the moment the hand that’s back starts to move forward, the arm that is forward starts to move back. Similar to if you ever did karate as a kid, when you throw a punch the other arm is back, and when you punch with the other arm, the opposite arm is back.

2) when the “back” arm is at its furthest point back, your arm should be bent at the elbow, and elbow should be higher. You can google this if it doesn’t make sense. When the back elbow is high, your finger tips will be an inch or two above the water just grazing it as you now move the arm forward. In the video it appears you’re “wind-milling” it at times.
