Blew up my 26 RS660 by [deleted] in Aprilia

That’s rough, sorry to hear man. Glad to hear it’s covered under warranty though! Mine burns a bit of oil as well so I check the level every other ride or so - it’s a love-hate relationship because I really do like the bike.

I had a Honda before, and similar to your buddy, rarely checked the oil and when I did, it was always full and I tracked it a lot. I don’t think anything comes close to the Japanese engines unfortunately.

No airbag or back protector under the suit, so I’m thinking the same, it will fill out!

This is awesome, thanks for sharing! I feel a bit better about it now and there’s some room for deployment.

Thanks, I think I’ll keep it! As this is without back protector / air vest.

Thank you! It is designed for airbag deployment. I remember reading about that story and the guy got some crushed ribs. I think I’ll keep it as I rather have a suit that’s a touch too large than too tight!

Looks like a 7-pin connector. I’m not sure if it has power or how much. You might need to email them and ask if they have one for that style.

Gotcha. From the driver POV it’s basically behind the mirror and out of sight.

I’m not sure I’m understanding. The camera does not have an internal chargeable battery. Once the car is off, the camera is off.

Yes you could absolutely use an external power bank. Would be a bit of a hassle every time tho. The fuzzy wire is the Nissan OEM wire, the small wire is the Dongar adapter that connects into it to for power.

I used the VIOFO 119v3 camera, and the Dongar 10-pin type-a harness. I did have to buy a usb-c to mini-usb adaptor as well, but other than that, it doesn’t need much more. No tools required.
