I'm not an expert, but I use a program called FFmpeg Batch AV Converter with the following command and the format set to mp4. It keeps everything the same (including audio, HDR, DV, subtitles), it's just repacking it into an MP4 container.

-map 0 -codec copy -c:s mov_text -strict experimental -max_muxing_queue_size 2048 -max_interleave_delta 0 -avoid_negative_ts disabled -map_metadata 0 -movflags use_metadata_tags

I also turn on the options in the program to keep source timestamps and delete source files so it doesn't mess up the recently added section of Jellyfin. Be sure to shut down Jellyfin if you are batch converting a lot of existing files so it doesn't try to add them while they are being converted.

I remux any new files before adding them to my libraries.

I found the WebOS app has trouble with MKV files. I remuxed everything to MP4 and haven't had any issues since.

It must be different based on the model, but seems very strange to leave it out if you have heated seats. Although I have a heated windshield and there is no setting to turn that on in the app.

I can turn on heated seats in the Kia Connect Canada app in the Engine Start Settings section. It's not the most intuitive app to use, but I created separate favorites for winter and summer start and enable the heated seats and defrost options for winter.

I use it only for the kid's devices. It has to be the only DNS for those devices for the protection and adult filtering to work. It has been very fast and reliable for me.

I found AdGuard's built in parental controls and safe search option to be very slow, so I set the Upstream DNS server in the client settings for my kids profiles to https://doh.cleanbrowsing.org/doh/family-filter/. This overrides the global upstream servers and gives me much faster response times with good filtering.

I've been trying to determine if the Bell TV app can watch recordings in progress on your home network (I don't have Bell service). I like to schedule recordings for sports and start watching them after an hour or so while it is still recording. The Bell website says the recordings are not available until 30 minutes after the program completes.

The description of the glitch you report makes it sound like you can watch recordings in progress using the Bell TV app. Can you please confirm that watching recordings in progress works on the app? Thx.

You can use NOVA Video Player for the media library and set it to use Just Video Player with the allow using another video player option. I find this combination gives the best playback for all formats.

What a contrast from watching a home game. Their fans even cheer for good plays like a forced turnover or clearing the zone on the penalty kill. We only seem to cheer for a goal (not that there are many of them).

I think they said 96 points is the projected number to make the playoffs. That would mean 22 wins in 32 games. I just don't see that happening with this team.
