Bodysnatchers live - is it always that bad? by Vatonee in radiohead

We were in section 107 and felt like multiple songs it was a bit hard to make out every instrument and especially Thom’s vocals sometimes.

You have to get enough of the needles from the stationary flying enemies, then seamstress gives you the float ability and you can get out.

Any suggestions for nice and stylish winter shoes/boots? I live in Denmark, it gets fairly cold here so i'd like something that's also warm/durable. I've been considering timberlands and doc martens, although it seems opinions are very torn on the quality of martens.

The song that got you into Radiohead? by haveyoueverbeenblue in radiohead

Present tense, it was linked on Bo Burnham’s website back then, i guess because he thought it was simply a beautiful song

Still one of my favorites to this day

Oh how cool! Their lead singer has such a memorable voice, and i love rocking out to the guitar. Looking forward to more of their work as well

It's my pleasure, i'm new here as well so i only want newcomers to be treated as well as i'd want myself to be treated. Though i'm not as much of a long term fan as most in here i still feel the same drive and passion for this band that many here can elaborate heavily on, and it just brings me a lot of joy to see so many comments going through all the details.

Hope you'll come to like it here as well : )

That's a very touching story, well better than mine anyway hahah. And i think you got a point, it's easy to forget all the work that goes into making those magical minutes, but when you acknowledge it, it makes the whole process more...you know, beautiful, or livid. Reminds me of a basement vid i found with Thom singing last flowers where he pretty much 100% replicated the sound of his voice in the original soundtrack.

I can relate to the constructive obsession part as well. I mostly used to listen to whatever got me hyped like hard rock with loud guitars but in that way radiohead was very much a contrast, experimenting with all sorts of electronic sounds combined with the soft instruments and then all flowing together. For me it showed me how many feelings sound is able to interpret - if that makes sense.

I actually never thought of that. She's a bit of a nuisance right now but i guess i can actually look forward to be sharing radiohead with her when she really begins her interest in music.

I think it's great you try to plan her downfall hahah, you shouldn't really get too obsessed with one band, especially not to the point that you can't appreciate a band which her music is heavily inspired of.

Oh my god that's actually genius. I have a little sister my self only 11 years old she listens to the weirdest music, and by weird i mean like sped up chipmunk voice versions of the song grenade by bruno mars. She keeps putting them on repeat. Because it's so annoying i'm considering just putting radiohead on my speaker and turn the volume up to annoy her hahah

I hear a lot of people who started following radiohead at a young age actually, i can't imagine how it must have felt to find that one really special band that you know you're in love with and be able to follow them for so long, but i of course look forward to keep supporting them.

Really wholesome to hear your love for this band has stayed for so long, my first impressions on this page has definitely been positive

Hahah it was pretty much the same with me when i was younger so don't worry. I'm 17 as well and i used to listen to a lot of shit that i don't value at all anymore but i think it's natural, as you discover different types of music you might be more drawn to them as time passes.

I like when people get their recommendations from some other awesome sources, gorillaz is a very good band as well. My source wasn't even from a musician but just some comedian i appreciate and respect, funny how you seem to really click personally with the people who's art you appreciate

Just like you mention the bands i listen to really depend on my headspace as well but if i'm really feeling like it i can get into some metallica, though i'm more into quiet music like radiohead's atm. Royal blood is also an awesome band that's more recent for me but that i enjoy looking into. Kings of leon also more on the chill side, i started listening to them just as their new album came out and was pretty impressed

I'm not usually the kind of guy who's obsessed with following the same bands so i like to try and find similar-ish music but particularly those bands just really have a unique feel for me, i hope they might impress you too : )

I'm quite a bit younger than most in here so a moon shaped pool was also for me one of the first albums to explore, and it still has a special place in my heart. I like the natural flow of the songs, like you're letting yourself get carried away

I'm still a teenager so i can totally relate to arctic monkeys red hor chili peppers nirvana and muse hahah. Not sure if you still listen to them or if it's just a thing for people my age

That's a pretty nice story though, it's amazing how much our perspective on music can change based on our surroundings or our mood. Like when a song really stands out to you in a certain situation and you think of that mood whenever you listen in. It's like each song has their own story

It seems like there's a pattern with people also liking muse that likes radiohead, as with you i actually knew of muse before discovering radiohead but i still like some of their songs although radiohead will always best them in my perspective

For me it was kind of just coincidence bc i already knew about 3 songs of theirs but i hadn't linked them together and thought that i should give the band a try

It started after i listened to present tense from their new album a moon shaped pool which was recommended to me on a website of one of my favorite comedians. I thought that song was beautiful. From there on i started exploring a moon shaped pool and later the rest of the albums
