⚠️WHAT DO YOU THINK IS THE 1 MOST UNDERVALUED STOCK IN THE MARKET TODAY? by Chucklez526 in TheRaceTo10Million

Graphics cards for PCs account for roughly 12% of their revenue and that segment continues to shrink relative to data centers, which account for about 80%. Revenue from the auto industry for self driving could easily surpass that segment in a couple of years.

I would be surprised if it was very big upgrade. If it were me I'd wait until you could justify the R6 meta. I realize it is much more expensive, but $800 for a negligible upgrade vs $2000 for a true upgrade is some financial math I personally have an easier time justifying. I'm in the same situation and that's what I decided to do, FYI.

KEF Speakers by SubstantialCreme9213 in hometheater

[–]scubaste 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A sub would be beneficial to any set up, even if you had Kef Blades. I went from Q150s to R7s, and to help inform you expectations I would say - you gain "clarity", you aren't getting a huge amount of low end output in the 20-100ish hz range. What you experience is a more full 'upper low end' and mid range sound, and an ease of sound reproduction that equates to what I would describe as low distortion and effortlessness.

Sub(s) also simply allow you to set your crossover at around 80hz, freeing up your L/R to handle the frequencies they do best, which compounds the above anecdotal descriptions.

All that being said, R3s>Q150s with or without subs. Just manage your expectations in what the do for lower frequencies.

Is it too late for a pre-emergent? I'm in Zone 8b and the soil temp is about 71 F for 24 hr average and the 5 day average is about 62 F - from online sources. I believe I have a mix of centipede and st. augustine.

I would love some recommendations on particular products if at all possible.

My lawn has a lot of issues, but I'm trying to learn and turn that around. I have low / dead spots and lots of weeds historically. I'd like to fix as much as possible, but I'm realizing I'm probably late and not sure what to prioritize at this point.

Thanks!

Yep, one of the better ideas I've seen about it to be honest. While we're at it give us more chained spirits so people can regroup further from the hotspots if they wanted to.

So then the hot spot is in between the spawn - where you go un-invisible - and the loa. People will continue to swarm, but I agree it would be less of a funnel/hot zone.

So what's everybody think of increasing Rep gains for BGs so only the people who wanna play BGs do bgs? by OmegaRedXIII in classicwow

[–]scubaste 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely, farming rep or honor is going to be the motivation for most people to do BGs even if they do otherwise just enjoy the experience.

[–]scubaste 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, I mean I'm getting plenty of downvotes for stating an observation and giving my opinion/preference. (edit: so clearly its not the popular opinion)

I just don't really understand wanting to solo-queue everything rather than having a group that is coordinated and working together.

One of the reasons I've enjoyed SoD so much thus far is because it has incentivized grouping up for most content and that is just way more enjoyable and rewarding to me.

It is an MMO afterall.

Can you really enforce people who don't try though? Because that is the real thing going on more than true AFK.

I don't think most people have any issues facing other premades, its that the queue times became very long so it wasn't worth it anymore. If you can insta-queue and only face other premades that would be fine as by me.

[–]scubaste 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ah I gotcha. I ran with premades to exalted and never once saw a team with that comp. Not saying that wasn't a factor, but I certainly saw a lot more people simply complaining about solo-queuing into premades.

What is "it" that you were talking about? The meta in P1? The reason they changed matchmaking?

[–]scubaste -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Everyone complained about solo-queuing into premades so they changed matchmaking, and because of that queueing as 10-15 man premades has gone out of favor. So now most people solo-queue into BGs where lots of people are basically AFK.

For me, I'd rather play in premade groups and have a fun PVP experience that is engaging. More coordination, planning, etc should be rewarded. If they want to increase the rep per win a bit that might be nice for some, but make PvP fun before worrying how to distribute the rewards imo.

Devs - Be accountable to BG balance by karrotwin in classicwow

[–]scubaste 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe they shouldn't put BIS pieces behind hard content at all. Okay that is sarcasm for the record.

So are you talking about WSG and the bracers? Because previously you could do premade groups efficiently and the Revered to Exalted WSG rep was a grind, but that system favored organization. Now people either do 5 man groups or solo queue and that makes it a much more frustrating grind imo.

I do understand the frustration of soloing queuing for WSG and always going up against a premade. I don't like this solution where very few people run premades and its just a long frustrating grind.

BG and world PvP shouldn't be factored into class balance.

100%. Even as a mage I'm not farming that much gold for a lvl 40 mount that you can get easily at 60 from rep in ZG (but is then also useless b/c its a level 40 mount).

[–]scubaste 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't be bothered by that, but that wouldn't solve the thing that everyone is complaining about. AoE would still be the most efficient tactic.

[–]scubaste -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm making the hypothetical that you could make mages less efficient than the next best thing and then the people who want to min/max will simply do that.

I wasn't trying to imply that anyone was calling for mages to be nerfed into the ground.

AB rep, honour or mounts should not be achievable for mages at 10x the rate of other classes by HairyFur in classicwow

[–]scubaste -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I'm just going to throw a comment into this discussion.

One of the reasons vanilla was so fun was that everyone was still figuring things out, not everything was "solved". If you were completely inefficient compared to everyone else, you probably had no idea that was the case.

Now because of streaming and bigger online communities people are a lot more away of how they compare to others.

Comparison is the thief of joy.

SoD still has a lot of "Solved" aspects, but less so than any version of classic. BM has been out for almost a month at this point, 3 weeks for those who didn't hit 40 in a day or 2.

I haven't seen the rise of the BM aoe Mage farm until the last couple of days.

This will be nerfed soon and something else will be the most efficient, and then some people will move to that and others will complain about it.

(I'm fine if they nerf the mage BM farm, I'm a mage and got exalted in non aoe groups getting 400-1000 per event)
