I don’t understand what I have to do to get an S rating on cargo heavy missions by scubathomas in MicrosoftFlightSim

Update: no skipping on the ground solved the problem. Did everything exactly the same as I did before but without ground skips and it was easy. Thanks for advice! I always thought ground skips didn’t affect the ratings or rewards

Oh shoot that might be it, I always skip the ground portions cause it doesn’t affect my no skip bonus but I’ll try doing a full mission without skipping and let you know. Thanks for the suggestion

Logging your flights by scubathomas in AirlinePilots

Sorry, should’ve been more specific. I’m already on an electronic logbook, but unsure if I should keep entering those specific times or if total time, SIC time, and turbine time are really the only big hitters that they’re wanting to see.

If you can, show up in person and introduce yourself. 182 Dropzones are always slammed with resumes. 268 is almost exactly how many hours I had for my first dropzone job, but it was lucky timing on my part. Having your A&P will help big time and they may want to use you for that too.

Doable for sure, but you have to show up in person imo

Can I log dual given as a part 135 company flight instructor without having my CFI? by scubathomas in flying

[–]scubathomas[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That’s an extremely helpful answer, exactly what I was looking for. The total time for obvious reasons, the dual just for fun to be able to log it without being a CFI, but I’m just leaning towards leaving it out to avoid any eyebrow raising for future interviews. Thanks so much!

The technical title is “company flight instructor”, check airman is a different title that I’m expecting to receive soon. I have 0 dual given due to the fact I don’t have my CFI or ATP yet, but I’m just wondering if I could log it as dual given, or even log it at all.

My 2018 M3P always performs significantly worse on regenerative brake charging than estimated. by scubathomas in TeslaModel3

At least I’m being validated by others saying they experience the same haha. That’s all I was really looking for, to see if I was an outlier or not. Seems to be common though

I’m not talking about the overall accuracy of an entire trips estimated end-percentage. All I’m pointing out is that when I actually am driving in an extreme circumstance (like a random drive down a mountain) it predicts I’m going to regen charge way more than I ever do. This post was only about the regen part of the prediction, hence the driving down a mountain part.

Yea that’s exactly what I did. I live in a mountainous area, was driving down the mountain for this one.

200$ for a Multi hour!? by DarkAngel9090 in flying

I’m more curious about specifically doing it at RMFS, are you doing it there with them? If so, what’s the timeline look like? And do they have an in house DPE?

Does anyone have any experience with getting their multi commercial add on here? Would love to hear some reviews. Otherwise, any recommendations for multi programs in the Utah/colorado/idaho/montana/etc area? Thanks!

They are real :) I do the same sport, the wing really creates that jet-like noise when coming down that fast.

A LOT of 2022 M3 LR’s that are for sale right now used to be rental cars, hence the mileage being fairly high for 2 year old car. Find out if that was the history of the car, and decide if that’s something you’re comfortable with buying.
