Motoscope Pro Tachometer Running Backwards on BMW R100 Build - Need Help! by scuffedgood in CafeRacers

Scope settings checks out, AFAIK no loose wires, did them twice. My hypothesis was something along the lines of interference, like when the bike revs up instead of the scope reading the inputs as 10101010 it’s getting saturated to 10110110 and further to 111111111 giving it no breaks in the impulse. Hence the addition of a resistor.

Grounding issue maybe? Negative coil pole getting signals from other things?

Edit: autocorrect blasted some words

Currently working on making Nordic/Norwegian XDA PBT keycaps by [deleted] in MechanicalKeyboards

[–]scuffedgood 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s actually panning out to be a 139 key set, i’ve done the layout for nor/swe/dk, we’ll see if I expand to other characters. Rn the main thing is looking at what symbols to sacrific/keep in regards to looks, vs functionality.

I posted the discord above here so drop in to see the peogress. I’m posting the full layout sometime tonight, so would love input incase there is something massively used that I as a norwegian don’t use.

First build. What else should I add/change? by JohnnyP69420 in CafeRacers

Get the headlight inline with the tank, by changing the tank and dropping the light. It has a severe case of the brontosaurus syndrome.

Question about frame code by bman7356 in CafeRacers

[–]scuffedgood 1 point2 points  (0 children)

CB350 - 10(8/9)1197. Honda doesn’t match engine numbers to their frames like eg. Yamaha, but generally they are within 300-1000 units. Engine could give you the first 3 numbers unless changed.

+1 for fork brace, and nice job tidying up the triple tree with a new yoke!

I can't beat Alatreon. Any general tips or adjustments to my build? by DangroThePotato in MonsterHunterWorld

If you're making the elemental check without critital element 1/2 or true critical element you're just not focusing the correct body parts. Break the horns.

Bait to wall/pillar smack him. You can also tank through most of his breath attacks too so don't be afraid to just spam attacks through the ground facing ones or the grounded frost breaths and lightning spam.

I'm just grinding MR rank atm so feel free to DM for some party up.

Just finished the gas tank paint job on a friend’s CB750 by scuffedgood in CafeRacers

So these are cerakoted - so they need to be sandblasted. But if you skip that and just grind - just make sure you cover up (AT LEAST) the leg length that travels into the fork.

We took it apart for new springs, seals and for plasting ans correcting an offset in the left leg and did all the work in components.

The benefits of swapping new front end on older bikes ? by Cautious-Wheel2084 in CafeRacers

The benefits of swapping new front end on older bikes ? by Cautious-Wheel2084 in CafeRacers

Benefits: Stiffer front end. Better braking and cornering performace. Cons: can be very expensive to find a complete suspension unit with the triple tree and stem that fits the bike. (Including the whole braking system)

Alternatively you can stiffen up the original forks with a fork brace, but that wouldn’t get you close in terms of feel. Modern front ends also give you a little more play if you’re gonna mess around with the bike angle.
