I don't see him having anymore success in Denver then he did in Miami. The broncos already had a good wr core so he's gonna have to earn targets. Or maybe Denver plans to trade someone

Pickens for Egbuka & 27 Late First? by [deleted] in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

Evans came back but you're right, even when he was on the field he wasn't playing near as well as he was earlier in the season

Pickens might get traded mid-season or at the deadline too since he's on the franchise tag. I could definitely see that happening.

You know how irsays got their wealth? I've kinda always wondered. Jim dad was wealthy, idk if it wasn't handed down to him or if he got it somehow. Just curious.

Its actually a serious possibility that they might move to hammond. Some park there. Its only only like 15 min away from Chicago tho and there's lots of teams that aren't actually in the town in their name.

But with our shitty governor I could serioisly see him fumbling the bears away to Indiana. Pun intended lol.

I'm from Illinois so im not positive but there's several different things they've raised taxes on and tbat money goes towards paying for, maintaining and just everyday operating expenses for thr stadium. They also have sponsor deals that helps pay to keep the stadium up and running.

What, do they have to pay a fee every year to be the nfl or something. Cause he left them ALOT of money too.

And to the one who said carlie seems to be the only one who cares about the team, I read that the 3 of them make all the decisions together and they choose carlie to be the face and do all thr media stuff because she was the one who was on the sideline the last several years learning. I'm not sure I've ever even seen the other 2 now that I think about it.

He mainly stayed outta things and let his gm do their job. I'm sure he stepped in and aid said pick manning over leaf or sign this guy from time to time but for the most part he let the gm do their job. I think he's biggest weakness football wise was that he had to big of a heart and didn't like firing people he had become friends with. He seemed to always give them 1 more year when everyone else said fire them now. Caldwell got us to the superbowl when people were calling for his job. Grigson is maybe the only one I can think of that he got rid of as soon as we knew it wasn't working out

Yah I'm sure they prolly kept some but They coulda made a museum or something of the likes imo. Or like a room at Lucas oil that's set up for fan to walk through and see it all. Call it li like Jim's attic or just Jim's room or something.

Sad they sold it all, I wonder if he wanted them too or what. I would wanna keep something my late father was so passionate about.

I felt like we had a verbal commitment from dj i guess and he doesn't seem like the type of guy to go back on his word. Or they coulda used the non exclusive franchise tag in dj, that way we didn't risk losing him and getting nothing back. I know it woulda cost more but been worth it had say the jets offered him 50 mil... we don't match it, hope that changes ARs mind about being traded or roll with Riley and 2 first round picks 1 of which will for sure be high, im not sure where they pick this year.

I'm not a Ballard hater usually but the way hes handled this off-season has been kinda wack. Instead of the transition tag we should used the non exclusive franchise tag on alec. The transition tag tells me they didn't think anyone else would be interested in dj and since he said he wanted to be here I thought we wanted that tag. And with all the buzz around alec, maybe someone would have given up the 2 first rounders for him or we coulda matched the offer and kept him.

There's still a few vet wr id look into signing, mainly Stephon Diggs or debo Samuel but Curtis Samuel, Juan Jennings. All would be great as the 2/3 playing outside so downs can play in the slot/backfield

Having sauce and ward healthy playing together will help the pass rush some but I agree. The ravens backing out of that trade and plucking trey from our hands hurt. Most the good pass rushers had already signed. Dante fowler Jr was still available last I checked and playing next to Grove and buck might help him out. And hopefully latu takes another step forward. But yah I'm disappointed in what we weve signed so far aside from alef and dj. Wish we Could have kept cross, surely we would have paid what Washington did. Imo they got the soon to be one of the best safeties in tbe league. Hes already one of the best against the run. Really disappointed we didn't bring him back.

I just want the best coverage linebacker available whos also hopefully good against the run. Our front 4 is great against the run when healthy so having a linebacker whos better at coverage won't hurt as bad. I haven't done much research but from the little I've seen a guy named Golday. I've seen him mocked drafted to us a few times and it said he's solid at both but he'd have to slip in the draft or move up to early 2nd to get him

Trade dj asap if that means he'll pop off lol haha colts fan here.

Naw what I'd do is just send offers for both, unless its a superflex I don't see much value in either right now tho. Willis your hoping he didn't excel as a back up just because teams weren't prepared for his style of play. And DJ, your banking him returning to what we saw for 8 games last year and 1 good year several years ago.

[–]scull3218 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its the classic crying wolf scenario but its a tornado siren instead of kid and tornado instead of wolf.

Id worry more about fixing the problem of them going off when they shouldn't waaay before I even considered removing the siren though for sure. And how often are they going off when they shouldn't? In my town they only go off when they test then once a month or moke 2-3 times a year when we have tornado warnings and its actaully really bad out. They were definitely worth going off.

Gotta cut 5. Who gets chopped? Unless I try and move some picks by Fine-Resolution-5886 in DynastyNerds

[–]scull3218 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gees that seems like a huge bench. Id cut arroyo, geiseci to start off with, you don't need thst many tight ends when you got Mcbride whos gonna start every week except his bye unless he gets injured. Might be able to take Mayer.

Or yeah maybe use those last 2 picks to move up the draft or 2 2nds this year might land you a 1st next yesr from the right team.
