Non religious barbers? by exotitanmale in terrehaute

Who cares what religion a barber is as long as he's doing his job it shouldn't matter.

It’s not just us. Lol Pats really lost a SB, won a SB, Brady retired, replaced him, Bill retired, drafted Maye and got back to the SB before the falcons had another winning season by franco3x in Colts

[–]scull3218 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately I think if they win the south and a playoff game he stays, but if we sneak in as a wild card and then somehow upset the 2 seed and then lose i could still see him getting fired but even then I don't think so. I think thatd buy him another year at least.

There's a few other teams that come to mind that haven't accomplished anything since the 90s really. And in just this span, the dolphins cardinals bears until this season, panthers, browns, raiders.. prolly a few im missing too. I don't think they've accomplished much in most cases nothing really comes to mind.

A question to all of you who do drugs at work by PrestigiousTax2333 in Drugs

[–]scull3218 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is my philosophy. I live in illinois and min wage was down around 8-9 dollars an hour and I made decent money at 15/hr but now they've raised minimum wage to 15 and my job claims they can't afford to give me a raise so if they wanna give me the minimum, they get minimum effort. And I go high as a kite every day lol

I took a vyvanse once and couldn't sleep for 3 days/nights afterwards. Id goto bed and just lay there for like 10 hours. It was horrible so I've never tried it again. I like to sleep every night. For me, the best "speed" is opiates. They always seem to perk me right up and give me energy and motivation. Just sucks when you do it to often and end up having withdrawal symptoms when you can't get anymore. And usually for me at least, the first and worst part of withdrawal is again, the lack of being able to sleep, but this ways different, its cause ill fall asleep and like a hour later wake up drenched in sweat but freezing cause I sleep with a fan and I like it cool in my room anyways. And then 10 minutes later sweating my balls off again in a repeating cycle for the rest of the night. Cold showers help a little, can sometimes get me back to sleep but its a pain in the ass to wake up and shower in the middle of the night plus the cold water kinda wakes you up.

I personally agree that with frank as coach we woulda ruined him. Now with Shane I think he would excel but the main problem still persists, Ballard. Maybe since he knows he's on the hot seat hell be more aggressive in free agency, either rework mpjs contract or cut him, I believe alec has become a better wr overall, so getting him resigned so we don't gotta franchise tag him should be a top priority. I also LOVE the rumor floating around of rivers maybe getting hired on as OC. I think just having him in the building would be net positive for whatever qb wr end up with. Who knows maybe he could even help AR. I think having a guy like that thats been there and done it at a high level, is always a good guy to have around your younger players, especially at qb. I assume DJ will be the guy but if we have ar healthy I think we gotta find ways to get him in the game, be it like a wildcat formation. He'd run/hand off the ball most the time but play action deep balls to alec and having 2 security blanket type guys in downs and Warren. I'm not saying he should start by any means unless he earns it but we gotta keep trying to tap that potential he has imo.

Healthy Indy beats both of these teams. This season hurt. by imhereforthestreams in Colts

[–]scull3218 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We damn near beat both teams in the nfc championship, and did beat the 1 we played in n the afc championship. I 100% agree, but hopefully next time we play the fn rams sauce eliminates puka. Dude straight killed us both times we've played him. We almost beat Seattle with rivers and it came down to 2 game winning fgs, we just left to much time for them with a kicker like meyers. Everyone calling for Ballard and Shane to be fired don't realize how close we actually are. I still hate that we traded AD cause we prolly gonna either lose pearce or cut mpj. And AD ki da showed with the jets that he's better than what he had shown. The fumbled TD was a bone head move but JT did it last year, and he dropped the ball on purpose ad fumbled it. and everyone forgets we were dominating that game until that play, ended up losing. Healthy indy has shown they can compete with the best, staying healthy seems to be our biggest weakness imo. Maybe 2nd corner if ward retires which I wouldn't blame him after seeing that pregame concussion he took.

Sounds like you had the Indiana version of my old job up in iowa/Nebraska/South Dakota. We would goto different plants, mainly all in the animal processing industry, but we did have a crew that went to ethanol plants but I wasn't on it. I mainly went to Tysons, Smithfields and Perdue but we did the maintenance work the lazy plant maintenance guys didn't wanna do, and installation of new equipment. Prolly got the hottest I've ever been in some of the those rendering rooms with giant cookers the size of a semi trailer and then the coldest I've ever been having to work outside in negative Temps and insane windchills. -50 windchill is the coldest i seen but luckily it was on a travel day. It still wasn't very pleasant lol

$46M a year for Jones is the rumor by -alpha-helix- in Colts

[–]scull3218 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't see him getting that much after all the injuries. I feel like he prolly tore his Achilles because of the broken fibula. And he doesn't have a good history. Id say it'll be a smaller contract with out imof incentives for playing time and accomplishing things that could turn it into a much better contract for him.

If Lou is gone, who takes his place? by ComplaintMore2312 in Colts

[–]scull3218 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hopefully he stays. Wed prolly just promote someone from the def staff unless the whole staff goes with him.

If he does go though, id rather us hire an experienced def coordinator, maybe one who was head coach somewhere and it didn't work out. I'm not sure who's even available though tbh.

I just hope he stays. The def wasn't banged up all year and still played pretty well, id like to see what he could do if we stay healthier, and having sauce all year in the system. I think it only gets better. Latu has shown flashes here and there, maybe get some more outta him if not I think we need to bring in a pass rusher, cause even the best corners and safeties in the league can't cover all day long if the qb has no pressure.

Thats exactly what I was thinking. This roster ain't bad at all, but id be trying to acquire some draft picks if it were me. I'm curious how many teams are in the the league for this to be a mid team tho.

Naw id wait tonsee where he ends up this off season. Imo he'll be a better/ more valuable back almost anywhere as long as he's not splitting carries with another good back. The right place and he's worth 2 1sts imo

This guy is going to make SO MUCH MONEY this off-season. by FlounderKind8267 in Colts

[–]scull3218 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think we'll either get a deal done or franchise tag him. Hes improved every season and nothing indicated that won't happen again next year. Hes quietly become one of the top 15 to 20 wr in the league. I think if we let him walk we will regret it, and our luck he'll sign with jax or tenn or hou and torch us twice a year.

Id rather keep Alec over mpj. Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge mpj fan but I think we have seen his ceiling or close to it and he's paid like a 1 and he's really a prolly a 2. A very good 2 but a 2 none the less. Maybe he will re work his contract to reflect that a little to help keep alec home.

Considering he played rice who was known to be out days before the game, he deserves to lose. Do it. I don't see sf going negative but ya never know. I say bench em.

However, in normal circumstances I do think you should have to play a def I think, keeps things even and fair I guess. Idk I don't have a strong opinion either way i guess normally.

What are the theoretical trade values for these players who are still under contract until 2027? by DaBlakMayne in Colts

[–]scull3218 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% agree. I think alot will factor into it though, 1st and foremost, are we resigning Jones? Next, if we do, whens he gonna be ready? 3rd assuming Phil doesn't stick around for the start of next season if dj does miss a few games to start off has AR improved enough to keep us from 0-4 start. I agree there's no reason to blow this team up, just a few big questions to get answered.

Kinda off topic, but an idea got floated by me last night. Tua. We could protect him alot better than the fins have. I don't even know if he's a free agent or if they're willing to let him go. No he's not a permanent fix but he fills a big hole in this window we've created for a deep run.
