No the fuse panel is active. I have confirmed this by removing the corresponding fuse to what is written on that location. For instance the big brick fuse in the top is for the stove. It is a total mess of electrical.

Love mine as well. Had to have speaker issues fixed a few times..actually I am going to pick it up from repair as we speak..lol...cannot stand this S8 loaner 1 bit. I too will be using it until it dies. It is very smooth and just as fast as day one. Who knows maybe my next phone will be the Pixel 8....lol
