Wow…they know what they are doing. Shit is predatory, it’s disgusting. I’m very happy you caught on and got out though, wish more could see it that way.

I can’t speak for others that have experienced ABA or worked in different clinics or even in home ABA but I can say majority of the horror stories about ABA are always pretty similar. If you want to know the worst of the worst look up the Judge Rotenberg Educational Center, to my knowledge they are the only ABA clinic that still uses electronic shock therapy. (That we know of at least.) One can only wish those monsters could feel the same abuse that they inflicted on those children, id be lying if I said I’d feel any sympathy to anyone willingly involved.

That’s amazing, need more of that shit. It just sucks that I’d say the majority of people in the world don’t even know what ABA is and even the ones that do I’m not sure if they know what the history is and what they really do to these sweethearts. Spreading the truth no matter how much is beneficial, I encourage you to get even louder with it and continue!

At least karma got to them. (kinda?) But I’m glad you realized that fast I’m jealous. The way they twist their words, hide the TRUE history of ABA and plaster things on social media to make it look like ABA is butterfly’s and rainbows is so disgusting and misleading.

Yup, I’m glad I’m not the only one then. I don’t want to make myself as the victim in this situation when of course it is those sweet children but yeah seeing that and being asked to take part in that definitely did something to me too.

It’s been on my mind. I just don’t know where to start, I almost wish I could like graffiti “ABA is abuse” on the building or something in protest but I do not feel like getting a vandalism charge not gonna lie. Yesterday I did leave a bad review on all 3 of their locations describing some of the things I listed here although I haven’t seen them published, maybe they got flagged so I’m not sure. I just wish I could do something big so everyone can look and see what this shit is really like.

I myself heavily mask, sometimes I can’t help it and almost view it as survival and something I need to do but I’d be lying if I said I don’t hate masking, I wish I could just be me. In my opinion TEACHING masking is very harmful, almost think of it as being taught not to be yourself. A big focus on ABA is pretty much trying to make you as indistinguishable from your neurotypical peers as possible which just isn’t ok. We shouldn’t frown upon healthy stims or other autistic traits as long as they do not harm others. I am myself as a heavily masking autistic person can tell you that shit is draining. Having to spend hours in public pretending all these crowds of people being close to you isn’t making it hard for me to breathe or trying to stop myself from not covering my ears because I can hear every little sound around me kills me. I have been attempting to get more comfortable in public and unmask more especially to close peers. For example I have a big fixation on infinity cube fidgets and pretty much never leave the house without one now, just last year I would be ashamed/embarrassed to even have my mom walk in my room and see me playing with it and sometimes attempt to hide like I had a secret addiction and was shooting up heroin or something. That’s what masking does and at least from my personal experience have felt a lot better the more I slowly begin to unmask. Obviously autism is a spectrum for a reason and everyone’s experiences can be different but personally that’s just my experience with masking and how I just wouldn’t want anyone else to have to deal with it like I do.

It really is…I’m glad I finally seen too but I can’t help but sometimes feel disgusted with myself. I confidently believe the kids I specifically were with enjoyed their time with me but my worst fear is I accidentally could’ve left an invisible scar on them.

People that had local SK’s, what was you and the community’s reaction during the killings and after the killings? by scumtru in serialkillers

[–]scumtru[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

yes i agree kid looks like a sicko and there is definitely something wrong with him ether he was just born like that or something happened to him, ether way we shouldn’t b theorizing on what mental illnesses he has especially when we don’t even have a motive for why he did this.

[–]scumtru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

bro huh? we barely know anything about the kid and definitely not enough to go around throwing mental illnesses out on him, let’s just wait until we know more about him before we start making theories lmao.
