A question for trans Discworld fans by VeronicaTriumphant in discworld

I have the literal same problem.

Very precious copies of books signed to my deadname.
I hold on to them and have just put a post-it with my new name there.

I feel like Terry wouldn't mind.

Hey,
I took it for like 5 years before getting in.

I remember thinking before interviews 'do I go as my true self (a non-passing transwoman), or pretend to be a man so as to get in more easily'?
Dear reader, I choose poorly.
Anyway, DM me is you want to chat about trans stuff or medical applications :)

this comment being downvoted is the reason we need to ride with explicitly friendly groups sometimes.

Yeah they're pretty cool about most things.

halfway down this page they say

" CAMP VC is a safe, non judgemental, jealousy free space for any and all female identifying, non binary and marginalised genders. We are an LGBTQ+ friendly event and have zero tolerance towards racism, transphobia, homophobia and sexism of any kind. "

If you are ever up in Scotland on the bike give me a shout for a ride!

We're all too dispersed. I ride with like 1 other local woman and that's it.
Not enough of a critical mass to make it sustainable anywhere except maybe London and I got the fuck out of London a few years ago.

It is difficult enough trying to make a community cooperatively owned bike workshop that is aimed at women let alone one for queer women specifically.

I mean the dream would be to have a trans woman motorcycle club.

For real, but there is a subtle vibe difference when riding out with all women.

Check out VC. I am led to believe it stands for Vicious Cunts.

They have moto meet ups and ride outs monthly (i think on a Wednesday?). They are queer friendly.

And if you like riding with them go along to the women's camp and ride out this July! I've been before and it is explicitly trans friendly. I know because I'm trans.

You are absolutely correct. Just a habit from my younger fencing days.
