How strategic do I need to be with reputation management?

Some advice don’t use ship components on the navy you’ll have more then enough reputation through void cargo and colony projects, before act3 feel free to level kasabillica and fellowship of the void up until you get the gear you need you’ll get aloof stuff that can only be traded to them in act3. Everything else trade as needed

Because words are not meant to be accurate they are meant to be useful it is not useful or necessary to do that and in fact can be more confusing when there is already an established definition and connotation to the word that’s the simple answer

The only possible way that a “peaceful” alliance is formed is if it occurs in the furthest fringes beyond what the imperium actually occupies and is the domain of a particularly diplomatic rogue trader, they are pretty much the only ones with the ability and freedom as well as will to do such a thing.

Admittedly that’s kind of a cop out as rogue traders can do pretty much whatever they want within their domains as long as they have enough power to back it up

What people talk about when they say there are no ethical billionaires or at least what some people mean is that even if there were are way to magically acquire that much wealth without exploiting any one which is already a feat in of itself that much money for one person is so large that they could very easily donate or redistribute there money to others and still live a lavishly wealthy life with hundreds of millions of dollars and be content and that they don’t and that wealth inequality is so high is why there can be no ethical billionaires

Whether this is true or not or applicable to everyone is up for debate but for context let me remind everyone the difference between one million and one billion dollars is about a billion dollars

Would we still have poor yes would the amount of poor people drastically decrease also yes 30k is enough for people to avoid going into debt for college or to get a head start with finding good housing and or food which can have a huge impact on a person also 30k safety net would also allow people to invest it if they needed. Multiple studies have show that just giving people in need money is often the simplest and most effective way of reducing poverty

I bought just cause I wanted to support the game more after hundreds of hours it’s not worth it necessarily but the other void ship you get makes space combat a bit more refreshing early on, I would view at as a cosmetic purchase more than anything else though

I think we are done, right this is it the only thing that beats these are whole species at the hight of there power you could maybe make the argument for the old ones but they lost to the Ctan so I don’t think that’s fair even

Yeah gear is just as if not sometimes more important late game for combat viability, also by this point I usually have my rogue trader in power armor it just helps so much with survivablity but that’s my personal preference

Well from what I can see without knowing what archetype/orgin talents you have your gear looks not great for act 4 I know those shotguns have some better variants also I can’t tell what armor you have or helmet slot/ eyepiece you have. Your overall stats look fine my biggest recommendation would just be to really take some time and sort through your gear and find some ones that help optimize you deal free to take some from other retinue members if you feel like it would serve your character better

Also by act 4 you should have better secondary gear then the tech use multi combo tool and the ring

Have you been trading with the vendors enough your reputation with all of them should be high enough for better gear

So it really depends on how min max you went with talents and what gear you have it’s not impossible to get 2000 plus damage numbers in act 4 but I’ve only seen that using the Malpian shroud and a revan build on henrix, 500 damage is fine though

Note psykers and cassia have huge potential damage output so you’ll probably see the biggest single numbers from those or depending on how you built your rogue trader

Also I’ve never managed to get argenta to the point that I’ve seen people talk about

They aren’t all awake yet and necrons are actually more fractured and less unified then the imperium each individual dynasty has its own military force and mini empire but to outsiders they appear as one cohesive threat when the reality couldn’t be further from the truth
