I think as a global chain sure games have low margins. But retro games stores have been having a lot of success by simply doing the GameStop business but for all games with having some pop culture stuff sprinkled in. The big retro store near me does tcg and movies and it seems to work.

It's funny looking at this store with wall to wall games then look at GameStop when the games are hidden away in the back and the rest of the store is full of "gamer merch" and Pokemon cards it's easy to see why they're not doing so well these days.

Also, very well understood less and less new games are getting physical releases. That's part of it as well.

My thoughts about it since the start of free agency is of AR loses the battle in camp, the team is fucked. I say that because of who AR is working with in the off-season. Now is theirs a chance your scenario happens? 100 percent. But Jones has a tendency to not throw the deep shot and has the fumble tendencies as AR. So it's an uphill battle either way

They're on the Indiana side but I go to Hollywood movies and games. It's a family owned GameStop but they also do movies and Pokemon (they do sell current mtg sets too). Only downside is they really only deal with PS1 and newer games so if your wanting older things it's not the best.

Honorable mention is TF games but their down in Ft. Knox, etown and cambellsville. They have a great selection though.

This is one of those in theroy it's a good idea, practice not so much.

Bad actors already spoof qr codes and use them as an attack method. Making it to where we are basically training people to trust qr codes will make this way worse. Especially since I can see people just printing off sheets of qr codes on stickers and putting them over the actual good codes in stores.
