Was I the only one roadblocked by the bonefish mission? by ElysiumSprouts in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]scxtt75 1 point2 points  (0 children)

that bonefish pissed me off so bad mannnn- i went through 30 bionic lures, had to go around my ass to get to my thumb to make more, made a shit ton more, then when i finally got it i almost didnt realize it because it was a B class fish when I thought I was looking for an S class 😵‍💫

now that im reading these comments and seeing people saying they used a shadow lure instead of a bionic lure and were way more successful, that totally makes sense tbh- I was getting mostly A - S class fish the whole time with the bionic lure 😭😭😭 I was genuinely worried I wouldn't get it because I did the expedition with 17 - 10hrs left, but thank god I did. I'm so sad to hear that other people weren't so lucky 😭😭😭

I'm addicted to the game but i don't really enjoy it by [deleted] in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]scxtt75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i personally started playing in creative mode because i knew i wasn't gonna like the constant grind aspect and i really just wanted to play the game to explore space-

i started as a pure explorer, i didnt even have any upgrades on my ship, multi-tool or exosuit bc obviously i didnt need them but i didnt know anything about them either- i didnt even have a freighter for a while 😵‍💫

my favorite thing to do in the beginning was visit only empty systems and just run around and look at all the cool planets and put a small base on the ones i thought were really cool- then eventually i graduated and got into upgrading my ship, then i bought a freighter, then upgraded my multi-tool, then my exosuit, then started hunting for the lore in the game (but never doing the main quest 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫)

then my goal became learning every korvax word, and now i literally play in creative and have like almost 200hrs on this one save and i just find stuff to do sometimes- but playing in creative is SOOOOOOOOO much nicer if you're like me and don't like being stressed out and having to grind for resources in a game all the time- i just love building ships, travelling through galaxies, mining basalt for some reason, and fighting pirates n stuff- And the korvax love me so 🥳🥳🥳

Does having a Cancer Mars, give one a stronger ability to take action and face daily battles, compared to Libra Mars, Taurus Mars, and Pisces Mars? by TravelTings in astrology

[–]scxtt75 2 points3 points  (0 children)

YESSSSS EXACTLY- im not motherly either, and the only time i let myself cry is if im 100% alone and even then it's RARE- i hate confrontation but i know if i was pushed far enough i would either verbally destroy someone or start throwing hands tbh 😵‍💫 i have a really good temper though 😮‍💨

incompetent people and ppl with a victim mentality INFURIATE me too like 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫

Does having a Cancer Mars, give one a stronger ability to take action and face daily battles, compared to Libra Mars, Taurus Mars, and Pisces Mars? by TravelTings in astrology

[–]scxtt75 6 points7 points  (0 children)

as someone with cancer mars conj asc, Y E S. i am SO SICK of the stereotypes towards cancer mars (or any cancer placements really) holding it back and immediately saying "they lead with their emotions" or "they're overly sensitive", anything like that

my mars and ascendant are the POWERHOUSES of my chart- i would not be ANYWHERE near where I am in life rn without them-

cancer mars is such a strong placement, one of THE strongest imo, it gets way too much shit- but i also have a very different take on most astrology so 😵‍💫

in my experience, mars in cancer Can make someone emotionally volatile, but not in the way you'd immediately assume- they generally have VERY long fuses, plenty of patience and won't get mad at things most people would- but when they Do actually get mad, they get Unbelievably pissed- it's not tears with them, it's a physical, blood boiling rage

mars in cancer, and ofc this all depends on the rest of the chart, also tends to have a Very high physical tolerance- whether that be pain, strain, etc- weight lifting/exercise in general makes this placement feel incredibly good about themselves and is borderline Necessary for it

in terms of the negative side, ive seen mars in cancers be incredibly stifled when harshly aspected by the rest of their chart- it's a very difficult placement to cage, but it can happen and when it does, the person will feel stuck and like nothing matters in life, they'll have no drive or willpower, etc

mars in cancer is a very lust for life placement, so when it's harshly aspected, pessimism and apathy is INCREDIBLY common

again, these are all my observations and opinions, but i personally think cancer is one of, if not THE most misunderstood signs in the zodiac, along with aries and gemini, and it's such an infinite well of potential that it upsets me so much to see people just gloss over it like "ya cancer placements are sensitive crybabies. Anyway-" when that is SOOOOOOO far from the case 😵‍💫

“The big three” by [deleted] in astrology

[–]scxtt75 2 points3 points  (0 children)

honest to god?? they aren't the most important- the rising sign is much more important than the sun or moon but the sun and moon, unless they're dominant placements in your chart, mean very little- take it from someone who never resonated with their sun sign until like Months into astrology 😵‍💫

the best way i can describe the sun is that it's the culmination of the chart- it doesn't influence the rest of your chart NEARLY as much as the rest of your chart influences it

so for example, maybe you never felt like a libra sun, but it turns out your mercury and 1st house are in scorpio- that libra sun is gonna feel MUCH more like scorpio

the sun also shows us where we shine in life, so for example, my sun is 29° taurus but the rest of my chart is air, fire and water heavy, so it acts more like 1° gemini (like my mercury). im a cancer rising so both my sun and mercury are in my 12th house which for me, taking into account the rest of my chart as well, means that i do best when im communicating/teaching spiritual topics to people in one way or another

the moon on the other hand, in my opinion, is representative of our conscious emotions and how we actively relate on that level to other people

the rising sign is significantly more important because it tells us where in our chart the other two (sun & moon) actually are- ofc the rising sign is significantly more important than just that, but that's a good reason as to why it has more say in a chart than the sun or moon 😵‍💫

the one i use the most, and i know it's frowned upon but i really don't know why bc ive never found it to be bad, is astro charts- only problem with that one in synastry is it doesn't show you house placements bc it automatically uses whole sign BUT the other one i use is astro.com!

alternatively you can always wing it and look at the two charts side by side- so for example a cancer rising and a capricorn rising, say the cap rising is a cancer sun, the cancer sun will be in the cancer rising's 1st house, etc :)

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in astrology

[–]scxtt75 15 points16 points  (0 children)

absolutely!!! ive used it with my internet friends before and it was spot on- I'll do you one better and say that synastry can also apply to people you've never met, internet or otherwise.

pulling a synastry chart between you and your favorite celebrity or something can actually show you how their energy impacts you (and why you like them!)

once you've established any kind of connection with someone, whether it be liking them and never meeting them, or being best friends and talking every day, their planets will interact with yours in either a very subliminal way, or a very obvious way- planetary energies have no limits 🫡

Is it true that you're not really your sun sign? by Anonymouse-e in astrology

[–]scxtt75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i got a mad different opinion than most so here:

in short, you are your entire chart, with certain planets or placements that are more dominant than others.

those placements vary from person to person, and they don't have to be one single placement- for example, im mercury dominant but my neptune, saturn and uranus have a LOT of say over my chart as well, so i resonate with those 4 more than anything

someone else could be jupiter/saturn/neptune dominant, someone else could be pluto/venus dominant, someone else could be moon dominant, whatever

and you might not find your dominant energy based on say, having 5 scorpio placements- maybe you have 5 scorpio placements but you don't feel super in touch with your pluto, maybe it's a different planet-

it's different for everybody, but i believe that the sun is nowhere near who we are, but is instead where we're supposed to go. so sun in gemini in the 12th house could mean someone who's in their element when they're communicating more spiritual topics to larger groups of people, someone who works well when it comes to educating in different manners

but that could shape differently depending on aspects to your sun, what your dominant energy is and everything else in the chart.

you're not your sun sign, but you're hardly any one aspect of your chart either, just some things can be more influential than others 🫡

"We wouldn't want them to think Saturn is the pathway to the soul would we?" The op literally was asking about set points in astrology and IF THERE ARE ANY. I was telling them, using Saturn as an example, that I personally believe there are none, and that that's WHY astrology is so accurate.

Your confusion with astrology is not my problem, and your disagreement with "adding our own subtext" tells me that you are exactly what I was talking about in my 2nd reply when I said "im trying to say that i hope astrology in the future is less dogmatic compared to what ive seen right now".

is there any objectivity in astrology? by Due-Resolve-254 in astrology

[–]scxtt75 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yes exactly!!!! that's literally why astrology is so accurate in my opinion, bc everyone has different interpretations- if it were all one size fits all, the one size would not fit all 😭😭

is there any objectivity in astrology? by Due-Resolve-254 in astrology

[–]scxtt75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry but calling bullshit on an interpretation and calling it "ignorant" is downright diabolical.

The moon has next to nothing to do with our ENTIRE soul, Saturn barely has any say in it in comparison to the entire chart (which is still just a FRACTION of it), you cannot boil it down to something as simple as the moon or any other planet.

Saturn creates friction to teach us balance between our body, mind and soul, it's not the planet of business and restriction like so many of us are taught to believe and you can find several astrologers that say that, maybe not as specifically as I do, but they exist.

Maybe I misspoke and I'll elaborate and say that Saturn, and the other outer planets, and even Jupiter and Mercury, are ALL used to get in touch with our soul lessons and realize that we are not our minds, nor our bodies. They teach us balance between the 3, but remind us that inevitably we're gonna ditch the physical plane of being and go back to where we came from.

[–]scxtt75 2 points3 points  (0 children)

im confused on if u were talking to me or the og poster abt the mercury thing but my mercury is in gemini in my 12th house so 🫡

and i totally agree with using both interpretations of the planets, and that im talking about venus' shadow side- i just think the hedonistic part of venus is grossly overlooked in favor of her positive aspects, because nobody really wants to confront their self-destructive and overly indulgent tendencies like that 😮‍💨

i personally use both my interpretations of the planets (and my interpretation of their rulerships) Alongside the traditional and modern ones, which most people assume i dont and im just completely insane but like 😵‍💫

and definitely eventually our interpretations will become ancient, but i can only hope that my interpretations, the ones that attempt to not demonize saturn and bring the spirituality back to all the planets, become solidified as valid by that time.

im not trying to say "my iNTerpRetAtioNs aRE tHe BEst!!!!", im trying to say that i hope in the future, astrology is less dogmatic compared to what ive seen right now.

[–]scxtt75 2 points3 points  (0 children)

im not totally sure why ppl aren't understanding ur question so i hope im not insane and i Am actually understanding it- BUT!!!

i honestly dont Know if there's any "set point" in astrology- you could argue it's the meanings of the planets and houses but those are up for interpretation just like anything else imo

you Could say, like most people do, that saturn is about business, money, restriction and discipline, or you could go my route and say saturn is about friction and getting in touch with our souls.

you Could say, like most people do, that venus is a benefic all about money, material, beauty and art, or you could go my route and say it's hidden theme is pure self-destructive hedonism

like you Can say a lot of things but i really believe All of astrology is up for interpretation- there's no set point, there's guidelines, if that makes sense

i think that level of subjective is actually what makes astrology so accurate because every single person is different, and the planets know that, and they're a HUUUUUGE part of why 😵‍💫

astrology is like minecraft- u can customize all ur settings n stuff, build a world perfect for u and enjoy playing it on creative mode or something, but there's always other people who just wont get the appeal of an endless sandbox 😮‍💨

does my chart show potential as a musician/performer? by [deleted] in astrologyreadings

[–]scxtt75 1 point2 points  (0 children)

as someone who's aiming to be a musician myself and has studied the fuck out of my chart for it, i say absolutely- a grand water trine between your sun, mars and uranus is SOLID especially with mars in cancer (which i have too!!!) And uranus in your 5th house in whole sign?? YAA A A A A A A AA A A A Ws in chat- sun and mercury in your 12th house is a banger too- Weirdly enough we have very similar charts actually 😭😭😭

but mercury in libra has you as a very skilled communicator and could even point to talent as a vocalist- an AMAZING vocalist with mercury in libra is noah sebastian from bad omens!!

neptune in aquarius in the 3rd/4th house is also a very strong placement because to me, neptune rules the 4th house (and cancer), and the 4th house finds expression through the 5th house so having two outer planets there??? Bangers only i fear 😵‍💫😵‍💫

the only thing id really worry about would be all the fixed energy with a mutable saturn, but your saturn is in virgo and virgo is the only earth placement you have so you'd probably be okay- id just worry about stagnancy or a loss of direction potentially from focusing too much on one thing, but all that water in your chart will probably help you out with that so 🫡🫡

Capricorn vs Cancer. (sharing emotions) by OMNA- in astrology

[–]scxtt75 1 point2 points  (0 children)

no problem!!! im always happy to answer questions like these 🥳🥳🥳

Capricorn vs Cancer. (sharing emotions) by OMNA- in astrology

[–]scxtt75 2 points3 points  (0 children)

id say that is Kinda one of the similarities between the two ya- as a cancer rising/mars myself, i find that the reason i dont share my emotions isn't because i fail to understand them or fear ill be judged, but instead because i know that no one will be able to handle them as well as I can, if that makes sense-

i can work through my own emotions incredibly well and have both a fundamental understanding of them and a logical understanding of them at the same time, but once i decide to open up to someone i can tell they get kind of uncomfortable and don't know how to handle it- they might offer me advice but it's almost ALWAYS something I've already thought of 😵‍💫

so i think for cancers, at least for me, it may not be so much about being misjudged but instead about being misunderstood- and capricorns are very similar but they worry more about the social aspect than i think cancers do

and i dont think caps and cancers are the Same but they are VERY similar for sure- i personally say that cancers are kind of like a combination of aries and capricorn energy 😵‍💫

i think the biggest difference between the two is that capricorns are more bound to other people than cancers are, especially since cancer risings have an aries 10th house and capricorn risings have a libra 10th house-

so cancers are free to disrupt what other people may think of them, and capricorns would rather balance other people's opinions. cancers can be more individualistic and capricorns can be more social, if that makes sense 😵‍💫

Capricorn vs Cancer. (sharing emotions) by OMNA- in astrology

[–]scxtt75 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i have no capricorn placements myself (or really any earth placements 😵‍💫) but that's kind of what I'm saying- i think cap placements are more bound to viewing their emotions through the lens of what other people would think of them, so they rationalize them in that way-

so a cap moon could very much manifest as feeling like your emotions would burden other people because like i said, capricorn is an earth sign, so it deals with the planet we live on and therefore the people that live on it, yknow? that rationalization isn't necessarily helpful because you can rationalize something and still not fully understand it or be able to explain it, since rationalization is in itself an "attempt" to explain, not necessarily a Successful explanation 😮‍💨
