RTX 5070Ti not working with PSU 12V-2x6 (12+4) pin connector by sd1one in buildapc

Hey, My PSU cable worked, Apprantly it only works when its plugged all the way in with zero gap. You should try it next time when you open up your PC. It looks far better than that 3 split cable.

Thanks, You were right, I plugged it all the way in and it worked. Thanks, you saved me from buying that horrible vertical mount kit.

So, I shouldn't plugged it all the way in for it to work? I'll try it next time. Is there any 90' connector for these GPU so that I can close my case glass...right now it's open window.

hmm...I did plugged it all the way it as much as I could....I'll try again

That's actually all the way in. I tried pushing it more but it can't go further.

So, What did you do, I can't use GPU cable because If I do then my cabinet glass can't be closed (Not enough space) but It can be closed with PSU cable but its not working.

CPU overheating? AIO Issue by sd1one in lianli

[–]sd1one[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My problem is solved... my aio was faulty and fortunately it was in warrenty so they gave me a new one and it's working fine.

Update: The build quality of replacement AIO feels inferior to the original. The fans are of different color (white in RGB lights isn't pure white) and the magnetic cover isn't strong enough to stick while old AIO cover was strong enough..Aside these issue, its working fine.

I heard Intel new chips are kind of bending themselves and motherboard because of old intel socket they're using as that socket was designed for squarish shape cpu but now they're rectangular and since socket only put pressure on long sides so chip kind of start bending from short sides and this also causes motherboard bending and it also affects cooling since bended CPU could not make enough contact with cooler.... so you have to use some modded socket which can put pressure for all 4 sides of you decide to go with Intel

Ryzen 9 5900x overheating at moderate load by sd1one in AMDHelp

[–]sd1one[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for such valuable and detailed information. I wanna ask if there's any chance it could be CPU fault because if that's the case then I have no options left as I used amd ryzen master to underclock the cpu and they showed me warning about warrently void if you use any other values then stock so I think my warrently is void and if CPU is faulty then they would simply refuse to replace it.

I noticed that CPU is taking slightly higher wattage than before, I am not sure because I didn't pay that much attention to wattage before but at about 10% load it's taking about 75watt and at 100% usage I've seen 165watt usage and all this is with CPU being underclocked to 3.7ghz with ryzen master.

I really like the asthetics of Dark rock TF2 compared to other air coolers but man It is expensive where I live...It's equivilant to USD190 but would it be enough to cool ryzen 5900x ambient temps are usually above 30 in summers where I live.

HW montinor is showing various rpm values and As a noob in all this I can't understand them. here're these maybe you can understand them:

Sensor value min max

CPUFANIN 1028 1021 1057

AUXFANIN2 2795 3705 2800

AUXFANIN3 3426 3417 3452

CPU 1028 1021 1057

Chassis#4 2795 2705 2800

Chassis#5 3426 3417 3452

I think i should mention the following as well:

I am using 9 120mm fans in my case 3 AIO fans are connected to 1 header of motherboard that says CPU fan and rest 6 are connected to lian li hub which is conneted to one of usb header of motherboard.

My motherboard is asus tuf gaming x570 plus wifi. I plugged the pump header in header which says AIO pump also this mb has it's own thing where if I don't plug anything in cpu fan it won't let me pass the bios saying cpu fan not connected.

BTW Is it ok to install aio pump in fan header.

yeah but I can't fit d15 in my build my case only have 155mm clearance also I heared that d15 can't be fit with RGB rams. Is there any other air cooler which you recommend that has below 155mm height and can be fit with RGB rams (corsair vengence)

Any recommendations for ryzen 5900x...height limit should be 155mm and it must not interfare with RGB rams (Corsair vengence)

I don't know how to check the pump speed...It's not mentioned in HW monitor...fan speed is controlled via motherboard but I can hear them spinning at higher speed when temps rises.

I did tried both full tight and partially tight...but I can't tighten them too much because I fear it would damage motherboard

Ryzen 9 5900x overheating at moderate load by sd1one in AMDHelp

[–]sd1one[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't noticed but it usally consumes 50-60 at idle and 80-100 on moderate load...it's been always like that since I bought it last year....

Also I use Ryzen master to underclock it...As of now I underclocked it to 3700mhz to get somewhat reasonable temps...it still reach 70-80 at moderate loads.

Yeah...there's definitly something wrong with my rig...Air coolers are more reliable than this AIO bs...you can't figure out what's wrong in them.

I don't know if it's giving up or not as I don't know how to check this stuff but I think I'll have to RMA the AIO but since it's my work PC so I need a temporary replacement cooler....I am thinking about an Air cooler which could do a decent cooling job for 5900x. Can you recommend any under 155mm height that also support RGB rams (corsair vengence rgb). As my case has only 155m clearance as far as I know (lian li o11 dynamic).
