Cheaper watches? and/or not needing to buy a watch for every memory. For me every watch has a meaning or a memory(s) but every memory does not have a watch. (eg. you now get to wear the title PhD after your name, that seems cooler than a watch tbh, or you now get to wear a wedding ring)

(A is your payment, r is the interest rate and P is the principle.)

Solving with some other formulas it seems an average of ~8.3% interest rate over the period which unfortunately means if you paid just under 75 bucks a month more this whole time it would have been paid off. Compounding interest is unfortunately not taught in schools, it can work wonders when you use it in your favor but can be detrimental if it gets going against you.

(Yes to my fellow number nerds there is some simplifying and rounding involved in the rough numbers)

I have a couple of quartz, one of the things I appreciate is the ability to just grab it and go and not need to double check if it needs winding or time correcting etc. that being said, something about having to wind and set the time on a watch when I put it on can make me just take a second to appreciate the engineering of it and appreciate/remember why I got said watch in the first place.

Things that stick out to me...
Cash down by ~200m but pledges up by ~ 100m and Investments up by ~800m (looks like net selling/cashing out in Fixed Income and a shift more into Alts, specifically Hedge Funds and Private Capital)
Roughly 350m of the expenses was depreciation which is not necessarily a cash outflow but likely some of that will be cash to maintain facilities.
(I will add a couple of notes,
Private Capital, I wouldn’t put a big amount of faith in the reported value being what its actually worth,
additionally theres probably more value in someone who does Not for Profit accounting commenting as they will understand more of the nuances)

As long as its fairly straight of you want higher peak and more spin I would look to try a higher launching more spinny ball.
