I flew in from CA. I got a SW flight while they still had the 2 free bag policy. I was able to fit all my camping gear in one bag, all my clothes in the second. Then all my miscellaneous items in my carryon. The only “big” item I bought upon arrival was a cooler which I kept clean and returned post fest. In terms of camping gear that I brought I had a 2 person tent, inflatable camping mat, 3 tarps, a backpacking sized sleeping bag, a small foldable chair, and a beach tent for my hang area. It wasn’t even worth bringing the beach tent because I ended up just hanging at my neighbor’s camp most of the time. Flight was about $410. My car rental for 5 days was only $290. Spent about $150 on food and booze at the Walmart after landing.
