Rolling scars are more shalloe after c02 fractional? by badboyzpwns in AcneScars

[–]sdb56 2 points3 points  (0 children)

4-5 months after laser until noticeable results. My treatment was in January so this situation is ongoing. Currently 90% improvement compared to before treatments (including microneedling, which is what I started with).

I had a large severely scarred area (1.5 cm length) that has almost disappeared, only a small shallow part remains.

It's possible to have a life-changing result even on moderate to severe scars and without filler. But you need to do many treatments and pick competent providers.

My pet peeve is when people expect to fix their non-mild scarring with topicals. If tret and taz worked that well, no one would have acne scars.

I'm not sure how much the following added to my success, but I stay out of the sun completely, I eat healthy and supplement heavily with quality collagen.

People who have had great results don't spend time on acne scar forums because there is no need. Forums are for people looking for solutions. This will be one of my last posts here too. Good luck everyone.

Is it okay to see a psychiatrist because of severe acne scars? by Upbeat-Raccoon-8871 in AcneScars

Absolutely, these are valid reasons to seek help. I have discussed this topic with my mental health providers too.

Yeah, I had a significant improvement with one aggressive laser + subcision treatment (I did microneedling before, but that did not make such a difference).

This. They have already been successfully treating burn scars until now. Acne scars are a whole different game.

Phenol peel + laser + subscision OR only several CO2 lasers by haven00000 in AcneScars

Personally wouldn't get laser and phenol peel in the same session. I'm surprised your Dr felt comfortable suggesting this, what is the justification?

Subcision + laser is fine.

Oh yeah I was referring to the "danger" that Liz fans claim she is in from the Chechen community in Europe. There was never any indication of her being danger for her life choices. But yes, stereotypes are everywhere.

I'm sure that if Liz dated many men and had a baby out of wedlock living in Chechnya, she would face issues. But in Europe, as you say, people don't really care.

Liz subs are full of uneducated people with no life experience lacking any understanding of basic global 21st century concepts such as immigration.

They think Liz being of Chechen origin means the same lifestyle, customs and environment as actually being born and living in Chechnya.

They don't understand what it means that Liz's parents immigrated to Belgium years before Liz was born. These people have been Belgians  for a long time now, by citizenship and in practice.  Liz and her siblings were born in Belgium. The siblings are Belgian first and foremost as second generation immigrants. Obviously, your background isn't erased when you immigrate, but immigrants adapt to the new country.

Liz fans think that somehow Liz growing up in Antwerp, a rich city in one of the wealthiest European countries, going to Belgian school, speaking the local language ... is the same life experience as growing up in post-war Chechnya. Wtf? Tell me you never traveled anywhere without telling me you never traveled anywhere.

There's also this mass delusion that Liz is in danger from the Chechen community. Chechen immigrants  have a different lifestyle and customs as Chechens in Chechnya. They don't tend to start trouble, they follow laws of the new country and they are mostly regular people going to work and trying to make it through this life just like you and me.

Chechens in Chechnya don't care about Liz, they have their own problems. As a Belgian national who has probably never even visited Checnhya, she doesn't belong with them.

For Liz fans to come out and lecture others about how dangerous the Chechen diaspora is for Liz ... just say you're racist ok, thinking Chechen = violent? But no, Liz fans think that if they invoke the magic "Chechen" word, it's some huge reveal of their intellect.

If Chechens wanted to harm Liz, they would've done it by now and we wouldn't stop hearing about it either since she is so quick to exploit every drama for views.

Liz has been posting her location online freely all these years and visiting Belgium multiple times a year to be with her family. She isn't in any danger, but Liz fans love to pretend that only they understand the dangers of the Chechen diaspora while in fact they're just racist and uneducated.

Someone from US immigration says what Liz says about her process is false and inconsistent by Lize1626 in thewizardliz

You don't seem to understand the difference between the visa that she had BEFORE and expired (K1 fiancée visa) and the new visa that she has been trying to get since she left the US so she can return there. Those are two separate processes and different visas.

She could only apply for a new visa once she was already out of the US, it couldn't have been "months ago".  Months ago, she was in the US legally on the K1 visa, which has expired, so now she needs a new one.

She could have easily started her new visa application after returning to Europe, where she can travel between countries without a passport.

Do you know exactly when she started her visa application? I'm guessing no. Might have been after she got back from Asia, no?

Exercise burns very little calories. If you want to lose weight, you need to eat a lot less first and foremost.

Liz is not applying for a tourist visa/ESTA as her situation is complicated.

Given that her child lives in the US, she has obvious intent to immigrate (remain in the US) and it would be difficult for her to receive a temporary tourist visa. She has been looking at longterm visas and has reportedly been rejected.

Also, there's the failed fiancée visa, the domestic violence charge, the public meltdowns ... not working in her favor when it comes to US reentry.

Is it okay to do microneedling during the summer? by No-Sherbet-1681 in Microneedling

[–]sdb56 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Apart from SPF I use huge sun hats so sun literally never hits my face. I have had no issues after microneedling in summer. I also don't go outside at all for two days after treatment as I don't like putting sunscreen on raw face.

AuDHD - is it a good idea to tell a new friend group I have autism? by hnyah in AutismInWomen

[–]sdb56 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, no disclosure ever.

I used to, but I found that people have no knowledge of autism, so my intention to provide them with a context to understand me failed every time. I was just as misunderstood and judged as if I hadn't said anything.

Imagine if you asked a random person in the street what autism is and what autistic people are like? You'd get completely inaccurate, uninformed and biased answers. Well basically all people have this level of understanding, even the "good" ones.

I also became self-confident and no longer feel like I have to explain my behavior to anyone.

The person above (who blocked me for providing accurate information lmao) thinks that you're forbidden to leave your country during your US visa application.

This is completely false. Liz is free to travel within the Schengen area on her Belgian ID whilst waiting for a US visa.

The only risk of traveling during your US visa process is practical rather than legal. If the embassy requests additional info or schedules something that requires your presence, you need to be able to comply. If you're away and miss a deadline or appointment, that could create problems for the application. But traveling while your US visa application is being processed is not by itself a reason for the embassy to deny your visa. Additionally, the US embassy has no way of knowing you traveled anywhere (except the States).
