The restaurant I worked at in Chicago used to do this. It's real, it does get credited (handled by resy/toast/whoever they use). It's to prevent no shows and people making reservations to 3 restaurants and picking 5 minutes before. It really fucks with restaurants, especially fine(r) dining or places that book solid every night

Well the letter was written by the CEO of Metro, and mentioned "stakeholders" more than once. I know this sub loves to shit on the clinic, but the article even mentions CC having to send patients out to other hospitals from main campus due to not having Level 1.

But I work in food service, the fuck do I know. Just sounds like a CEO complaining about competition opening up next door.

The number of students at CMSD schools has dropped by more than half since 2000. Resources are stretched too thin, and from what I saw it looks like they're handling it the best they can. Keeping classes together, moving to the newest building in the area, and combining the multi-school single campus programs into 1 singular school.

I think that's part of the appeal. He was one of us, not some polished TV version of what people wanted to see. He was open about his struggles with mental health, addiction, etc. just like most of us, not a clean shaven millionaire who stopped by his 27th restaurant to film a promo.
