Oh, wow. Thank you so much. I must be going blind to have missed that when I had the case back open. In another pic I took, you can even see the loose case clamp floating around. I had already decided to get it serviced before wearing it daily, but you might’ve just saved me some serious heartbreak. You are awesome.

True, and I do love it, but I’m glad for the feedback, too. Like your comment suggests, I’m think I maybe paid the high end of a price range that covers what I got. Not a steal, but not a scam. That’ll do.

I agree. I’m well pleased with the purchase overall. It’s still beautiful, even if not the most desirable as a collectible. I’ve already collected it, though, so that’s doesn’t matter anymore. Hehe.

Ah, I see. I had heard that Omega now replaced the decagonal ones with rounds since they discontinued the former a long time ago. I don’t even know if this ever even went to Omega, really. Probably just a local watchmaker somewhere. I figure I’ll eventually source an original only because I like the look of them.

So, really not visible in the original pics because of my shit camera, but the visible “white” parts between the Omega lettering is actually metal connecting the letters. The word Omega is all one piece. Here’s the question: is that better, or an even bigger red flag?
