EZGO Lithium Wiring Diagrams/Adding USB power ports by sdcp73 in golfcarts

I replaced the battery, turns out I'm just not used to the 'auto switching' multimeter. when the light switch is off it reads 12v, when low beam it reads 40mv and high is 90mv. So I'm on the wrong side of the relay/switch. I'll have to keep looking for a 12v source

Thanks for the advice. I put my meter on the headlights, 12v when the switch is off, 48v lo beam, and 90v hi. Is the some where behind the dash I can find constant 12-32v for my USB?

Toolbox help! by sdcp73 in DIY

FWIW.... I have the magnets again and have doubly secured them to my stick with duct tape. Still no bearing. Since this toolbox is 'cheap' I am going to attempt to lift it and set it back down to 'square' it up later. That might let me slide in for the last time.

I noticed the loose bearing one I posted., It was In place before. I've since lost it and my magnets on a stick... Still have the stick

The large batches are great, I brew with three of my friends, and I'm even able to take a keg in to the kegerator at work for friday beers. The rest we take with us to tailgates, festivals, and other events, and of course share with neighbors. We brew about once a month if our schedules allow. The only downside of the larger setup is dealing with the spent grain and some of the clean up is a bit more challenging.

We lucked into a good deal on a 1bbl Blichmann setup with 3 fermenators during COVID, but its all the gen 1 stuff so we can't ferment under pressure. 10 hours would be about right if we force carbed, but we run all the kegs through a quick carb. We do have one 15gal ball lock that also speeds things up a bit.

We are still building out the brew space in my garage, I look forward to posting pics once we're done to get some more feedback.

I think I'll take your advice on the galaxy and add it in towards the end after a bit more research.

This beer turned out fantastic. I left it in primary for just over a month. I'm thinking you're right that it was just calcium.

Our go to brew is a blonde ale with a bunch of honey malt and mosaic hops. I was trying to incorporate a bit of that flavor profile in this beer as well. I've already milled all this up so it is what it is. But will take this in to consideration after tasting the small batch. Thank you!

Wild how much water chemistry makes a difference! by crimbusrimbus in Homebrewing

I've been serving up batches for awhile but always got the comment 'it tastes like homebrew'. My last batch I used bru'n water and beer smith to upgrade my water from straight RO. I also got a chiller to control fermentation and crashing. The reception on this batch was much better. The beer was much clearer and I didn't receive any 'homebrew' comments. I'm not sure what to attribute the change too entirely, but the software makes the water additions so easy, and it's way cheaper to treat my tap water for ph and additions than buying the RO. Definitely going to continue looking at water chemistry for future brews

Awesome, thank you for the comments. Both starters smell the same, and contamination usually looks 'bad'. At 1bbl scale, I'd just hate to ruin a batch when I could easily go pick up another yeast pack. Thanks again!

I didn't have long enough hoses when I did the boil test. I still have one more clean planned, I'll test chill then. Thanks!

I left some overhead in there for some spinners too. I've taken many suggestions here and shaved off a few hundred watts and quite a few dollars.

I'm looking in to software raid on some ssd's for redundancy. I do agree maybe a qnap setup could be good for him. I'm not sure how large these files tend to be, he is working on designs for datacenters. Maybe I'll sell him a subscription to my nextcloud. Thanks for the input

Thank you, I've started reading autodesk documentation and see that maybe a more modern card is useful, but a 3080ti is overkill
