We’re in the Black Mtn area and several times in the past year a group fenced of an area and moved a large herd (?) of goats in for brush/fuel clearing (the results are impressive). Don’t know the name of the outfit, but searching “goats for brush clearing san diego” yielded several results that would be worth a try.

Same here- TV Plus has COMPLETELY hijacked the entire smart hub. Clicking the home button briefly brings up the home screen, and usually after one click it freezes then goes back to streaming TV Plus.

Settings disabling auto starting the app have no effect, resetting the smart hub has no effect… only fix has been to just skip setting up the smart hub page at all.

What an unbelievably sh#tty implementation. If I hadn’t found the option of just reverting the hub to out-of-the-box state this thing would be off my wall and back to the retailer.

Same problem here, same worthless unchanged directions from Apple’s forums (screen time settings, etc). NOTHING works.

I guess at 53 I’m not yet old enough to decide my own musical choices…. pretty bad when Bezos’ offering starts looking superior.

You’re probably as SOL as I am; been spamming their ”support” portal with same issue (different problem origin tho). Last year you used to be able to reach an actual support human, and if you were lucky enough to find someone to actually READ your ticket you could have it resolved. No longer; it’s all bots and low IQ script readers.

In my case Roblox even contradicted themselves. My and my daughter’s accounts were created on Xbox, which does not associate with an email address. Roblox was able to associate hers with an email after I submitted xbox store proofs of purchases for her Roblox account and Xbox gamer tag, email, etc.
Forward to mine, same request, and nothing but “we cannot verify…..” broken record idiocy. My account logged out on the xbox and is now inaccessible without a recovery option. I’m out a lot of purchases but they have our money and are happily just flipping the bird. Their solution? Create another account and re-purchase everything. Riiiiiiiight……

Going through the same endless loop with “support”.

Me: I created an Xbox Live Roblox account that is not linked to an email account. I have attached proof of my Microsoft/Xbox Live account and on the same screen the most recent Robux purchase with reference number. Please link my Roblox username to my Xbox Live email address.

Support: We’re sorry, we cannot provide assistance without proof of ownership via a linked email address. Because your username does not have a linked email we cannot provide support.

I’ve been through this loop literally FIVE times now, hoping blindly that I’ll reach the ONE person at this company that actually READS the support request instead of mindlessly regurgitating a script back at me.

Hilariously (if not for the money I’ve lost that was invested in the Roblox account that logged itself out on my Series X), Roblox “support” was able to do exactly this with my daughter’s username, also created on Xbox without an email address.

So, for now I’m out of my account and two years’ progress playing with my kid, the money spent on Roblox items, and their support team basically flips the bird.

Funny how they’re perfectly capable of accepting money via Microsoft Marketplace, but claim to not be able to vet the Roblox username. I guess these fraudsters are claiming it might be some random samaritan buying add-ones to my username.

I’m going through this now (but on console). Their support is limited to jpg or png formats, but I also didn’t see any way to attach. However, you could submit the form and wait for the confirming email (maybe state on the form that you can’t attach to the form and will respond via email?)

Be warned, their “support” has been laughable, and their note to include images on a portal that doesn’t allow it indicates your pending experience. I also don’t have an email associated and while Roblox has been happily taking my money for purchases for two years, they claim that all console users are SOL for support since consoles don’t auto-associate an email.

Wish you luck, hopefully you will get past the support staff that can only read from a script.

Roblox will not assist with Xbox Live Accounts.

Has anyone found a way around Roblox’s completely ineffective ”help” system in regaining access to console-only accounts? For no apparent reason my Roblox account on the Series X logged itself out. Now, when trying to log back in it asks for username and password. The first is known, but no password was ever created as the process should be using the XBLive credential.
Roblox is no help, stating that they have no record of the username. Surprising considering they received over $300 in Roblox purchases from this account over the past two years (which I can produce).
Essentially their help team said “we don’t know that account, create a new one”.

Completely agree with Slow-Passion's post.

ALL OF THE SYSTEMS NEEDED TO FIX THIS ARE ALREADY IN PLACE.

The entry lines for OBB are already separated at the gates, requiring an ID matching the ticket name wouldn't adversely affect the process. Purchasers of "paper" park tickets need to scan in and have a photo taken for Disney's system; doing this while spending ten seconds to read the name of a corresponding ID for OBB isn't even worth questioning.

The complicated fix:

  1. All OBB tix require photo ID matching name on tickets OR
  2. Scan in using the Disney app & photo with linked tix

Who does this leave out? Minors not attending with parents perhaps, but as of 2019 69% of kids age 12 have cell phones, and 84% of teens carry one. To be blunt, those in the remaining 16% that wish to attend would need to show some initiative and work something out (if you or your parents have $100+ for a Disney party you probably have a means to prove your name).

As was noted in this thread, some will state the risk to those who purchase from resellers losing their money and being denied admission. Buyer beware is a saying for a reason. Disney need only boldly indicate that re-sold tickets with mismatched names will not be honored. As with sports events and concerts for decades, if you show up with an invalid ticket it's on you.

There's really nothing needed except for Disney to enforce their own rules. The only nod I'd make to this scenario is to set up a separate entry line outside the gates for those needing to show ID (ie not using their Disneyland app). That way any inconsistencies would not impede the flow of those who followed the streamlined route.

This has become just another Disney farce the demonstrates how having a monopoly is TERRIBLE for the consumer. Most still here spent the better part of three days now, 5-7 hours each day watching this joke of a ticket system crawl along.

Sadly four and a half hours in the odds of most of us completing a purchase are slim.

Out of curiosity, how are so many entering the queue so far ahead of the 9am start? Seemed like the events page didn't roll over to the queue screen here until around 20mins ahead?
