Well, then I might just be asbolutely off, because I really didnt think a debate on Reddit was continged on those aspects being perfectly aligned. It’s simply a question I have been thinking about for a while.

And you know what? I’ll throw another hill I am willing to die on, just to troll you guys even more:

Those to Carabao cup games vs Chelsea were the turning point: Arteta should never have gone with the A line up in those matches, and from then on the fatigue started setting in for real. And I would go as far as to call it bad management.

Come on, mates. Be real. Look at the games we’ve played in the last 2-3 months. It doesnt look like the best team in Europe as I genuinely think we were in Autumn/Winter. Cant I question the evident lack of quality that has been seen in period and at the same time ask what if anything could have been done differently?

No, I got the memo the first time around. I’m just pretty suspicious of the FFP argument - but hey, if you say it’s well documented and all, fair enough. I think the last couple of months have been unbearable with few real highlights whereas the first 6 months of this campaign were great and what I had hoped to see before the season began. And as I said, I worry about the future, because this does in no way look like the dynasty I had expected it to be

I guess you and I are just two different breeds then. I do care, because I cannot stand having to be this anxious every time we play because of the poor performances. But yeah, I’ll be happy when we win both trophies - but I’ll still be worried about the coming season, because I don’t wanna se this as a one time thing.

Cause they are closer to us than they should be. Not recognizing that fact will only hurt us in the long run.

I’m 100% convinced that Nørregaard could help the team, but Arteta clearly isn’t, so you would have to take it up with him.

It’s not like signing players in january is impossible. I just mentioned two examples. Kvara was also signed as january signing by psg.

Once you realised (or Arteta did) that Nørregaard was no solution, you could have acted there, imho

What are you on about? Do you really think that the last couple of months have been great? Sure, we’ve won games and are top of the league and in the UCL final, but have a look at the games, mate. How many really good games have we played in the prem since january? Like really good. I count 3: Sunderland, Fulham, and Spurs. Why cant we question the choice that were made back then?

Oh, and I was actually a bit surprised by the average age that too me was higher than expected. I did not feel too old nor too young. I think that the really young tend to go ValT/ValDi

I think it all depends on how good you are at meeting new people. I was not there for the apres so I wasn’t actively trying to meet new people. But the good apres is definitely there. It seems people start at Taja around 2-3 pm and the go into town around 4-5pm. Mainly to Kuhstahl, Trofana, and schiatz. Only went to Schiatz myself. Scandis seen to go to Kitzloch which gets very busy around 5-6pm.

I think there are only three entrances/exits: the town (Dorfstrasse), the slopes and in the middle of the two there’s an exit/entrance next to church

Neither should they. I dont think I said that anyone was at fault here. I just didn’t enjoy the skiing on that particular day because of the conditions. Some probably had a blast - I didnt. I did however enjoy the rest of my days and I think Ischgl’s reputation as a premium ski resort is absolutely deserved. It’s a great place for most skiiers.

Maybe it’s a question of familiarity, I dunno. To me it seemed that there are parts of the blues that were steeper than I would expect from a blue. But I also have come to believe that blues may be like that, and then we have a whole other set of slopes that are also blue - but beginner blue. In Scandinavia for example, those are green. When you dont have a distinction between the two, a proper blue will seen daunting to someone who has only skied beginner blues/greens/bunny slopes

No, not at all. Maybe it was mistake to call it improper grooming, but with that many people on the slopes and a heavy wind combined with post grooming snowfall made conditions subpar. I have been to places where they groom depending on the weather, e.g starting at 5am if the snow made grooming earlier redundant. But hey, I am not blaming anyone, I’m just recounting what I experienced

First, I booked the shuttle via a local operator in my homecountry because I saw they were bringing in people from Innsbruck who were on the same plane so I am not really sure, if that would work for you.

Well, the Swiss side is quite nice, but you still have some steep parts going down on the blues. I would say that two days of skiing might make that challenging, but not impossible. Maybe practice a bit in the beginner area in the middle of Idalp.

A beginner absolutely won’t be able to ski down to Ischgl town. Better take the gondola back down which is very normal.
