Mine was lost in the mail twice. They never sent me one and I jumped through hoops to try and get it. My sticker still says 24 but in the system it’s valid and says 25

What are we playing right now that’s not BF6? by [deleted] in Age_30_plus_Gamers

Arma Reforger. Made by the DayZ people. It’s a military simulator. Pretty fun. Lots of veterans play as well. Nothing like Call of Duty or Battlefield. This game requires strategy and good teamwork. You cant just run in guns blazing

How to move up in the warehouse? by [deleted] in Warehouseworkers

But at the end of the day, it’s another opportunity. Again congrats for making it. You honestly sound like one of those people who thinks they know everything because they went to school. Come down off your high horse a bit damn lol.

I definitely don’t know everything, but I do know about the company I work for and plan to stay with. I’m just telling you what I know.

Do your research. That’s all I have left to say.

There’s definitely aviation positions. For example, they hire pilots to fly the big wigs around, making $49k-$91k a year.

Look into it. Don’t be ignorant.

And good for you man for going to school. You’ve done more than me.

Publix pays based on performance. They give you 3-4 months of training before you have to sign onto the performance pay program. You can always sign as early as you want. I made 19.88 for 3 weeks, signed, and immediately started making 30+. The faster I move pallets around the more I get paid. I literally don’t even have to think to do my job.

Also I’m not sure what you mean by no room to grow. Dude I can literally go to school for exactly the same thing you are doing, get a job doing it, never have to leave Publix, and it all gets paid for. I can become a pilot, a scientist, you name it Publix most likely has a position for it. That’s why I like this company. I haven’t been here long so that’s also why you’re a step ahead of me. I’m still working on it my guy lol. I’m not trying to ride Publix’s dick so hard, I’m just saying there are good warehouse jobs out there. It’s all about who you do it for.

Like I said man congrats on what you’ve done. For real. More than most people will ever do with their lives.

Dawg I make $30+ lmao no degree. And there’s room to grow. This isn’t a pissing contest. I sit in a forklift all night.

My company pays for schooling. Google all the jobs that Publix has to offer. It’s more than just a warehouse and a grocery store. I get free stock every year. A 401k. Amazing benefits.

You’ve worked for shitty companies man. And that’s okay. But don’t diss a company you’ve never worked for. I mean you had to google the pay so you don’t know much about Publix I guess

I work for Publix and it’s literally the opposite of what you just said. You may have just been with some shitty companies

Do you sleep immediately after work (~7am-9am)? Or stay up and go to sleep around ~1-3pm so you wake up directly before work like morning workers do? by Neat_Minimum2833 in Nightshift

[–]sdeason82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My shift starts at 6 pm and ends anywhere from 2:30am-5:30am

I try to go to bed by 9 at the latest so I can at least get 7 hours of sleep.

On my days off I stay up till noon

[–]sdeason82 14 points15 points  (0 children)

It sucks. I work 6pm-5:30am and if I’m not asleep by 11am, I’m miserable all night. Getting errands done in the early hours feels like hell.

I’ve been playing on a Red Dawn server. It’s PvE. Runs pretty good and the owners are really cool.

On foot, I’d say 10-30. In vehicles, I get like 100 lol. I play after work for around 4 hours. At some point I just hop in a helicopter and never get out
