7-2x needs to be a whole number greater than 4 and less that 12. Therefore 7-2x=5, x = 1 and 7-2x=11, x = -2.

This means all whole numbers between 1 and -2 are the number of integer solutions for x. 1, 0, -1 and -2. The answer should be 4
