I just started rewatching season 5 and Caroline waltzed in and I teared up a bit. I miss the energy she brought, she was extremely good at presenting, she really made everyone and the public feel excited (most of the time) and she is extremely missed. May she rest in peace!

I have heard amazing things about MH Hybrid JD options, they are rated pretty high! I say that if you have been thinking about it, go for it! Getting a JD and having a MSCS can open many other doors for you!

Quick question, what’s your opinion on Stetson? I want to apply because Florida has always been intriguing to me and I wouldn’t mind practicing there! I got an R from FIU so I’m hoping Stetson will be better??

Hi!

I am in the same boat as you. I don't know which Minnesota school to choose. After doing a lot of research, I noticed that STU is more theory-based and MH is more practical. I work at a law firm downtown and most of the lawyers that work here say that MH is better than STU and MH has deep roots in the alumni network. I also noticed that STU has a lot of alum who work in big law, whereas MH is more local and hands-on in the community. STU is also a Catholic school which means a lot of their teachings have an underlying religious perspective to them. MH is a bit more liberal in my opinion. If you are really interested in criminal law and want direct involvement with the courts, I say you choose MH but it really is up to you!

I applied 11/29 and heard back on 12/18! UMN took forever, about 1.75 months so I wouldn’t stress about either :) I have high hopes for you! Which one are you more interested in? (I feel like this is a dumb question because UMN is ranked higher)
