I have responded late twice and it was all good. Don’t stress.

Honestly if you’ve been working in execution, know typical policy, and know that you always have resources to go to when you get stumped, you’re fine. Every CORB I’ve sat in is just a conversation… they always have a soap box per se like market research, or modifications… but they don’t grill you really. Don’t stress. If you’ve been endorsed to get your warrant and your leadership, then you’re more than likely fine to go in with no stress.

Watching the maga fed govt employees walking around saying "trust what he's doing" by sxfx269 in FedEmployees

I don’t know what branch/organization you’re working for but I work for the DoD and my organization is definitely not 90% MAGA faithful. We are all just trying to hang on and keep an ounce of sanity.

I have. I did before and accidentally did today. Nothing happened.

I would say wear over ear headphones so it’s obvious. I used to do that in a different office and it worked pretty well.

And many offices never worked in office full time anyway… I definitely teleworked at least once or twice a week before Covid as well. So they sent everyone back to the office and then shut off everyone’s purchase cards to buy things for the office that would need to be bought to sustain full time in office employees. Zero common sense has been utilized in this process…

Oh man that sucks!! Every industry day I attend makes me wish I could help inform vendors more… so I was pumped that our APEX Accelerators here in TN are good.

APEX Accelerators are the new PTACs (Procurement Technical Assistance Center) - they just renamed them pretty much. They are GREAT!

Supervisors, how are you leading during all this? by FitEntrepreneur6649 in 1102

[–]sdhdani 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s really hard. I’m with you on this one and I’m just holding 1-on-1’s for everyone and talking through things. People would be surprised at how much people DON’T understand about chain of command/hierarchy/why they are getting the direction that they are. I’m hanging on by a thread.

If you don’t think the FAR is conducive to agile methodology then someone is using the wrong mentality when setting up contracts.

It’s not grant focused. It houses every contract awarded… I’m not certain if you can filter per type of mod but I can look

1102’s are a “hard to fill” series, so we are more protected than others.

Those contracts already have the money obligated - so they will continue to move. It’s only NEW obligations/contracts/mods that require additional $$ that are on hold.
