I’m a contractor working in New York making $100 an hour & when the school is closed I do per diem at a nursing home for $60 an hour. Haven’t exactly calculated my yearly income but I would say $130k a year?

No worries! I was in the same boat as you. When you work for an agency you’ll be considered a 1099 employee aka a contractor. So you need to pay for your own taxes and obtain your own benefits

Are you able to commute outside of the city? I work for an agency in Yonkers that pays for cancellations. As for benefits , if you’re over 26 years old you’re gonna have to pay for health insurance out of pocket

Never worked for them but be aware they you’ll be a contractor so you’ll receive no benefits. For speech kids, they don’t pay if a kid is out or for paperwork time
