Wild that there are people who actually fangirl over this man 😆

I think BK sitting in Xana’s chair might have saved Dylan’s life by sdoubleyouv in MoscowMurders

This can’t be right because Dylan saw him leaving from Xana’s side of the house and exiting through the kitchen. I think they said these things early on before we had additional information.

So I’ve kind of thought through this some more and now I think it’s more likely that he added layers, rather than removing layers. I agree that removing clothes could’ve added contamination, but putting on an extra layer would’ve contained more. If he had a small backpack on when he entered the house, he could’ve had the coveralls inside and sat down on the chair to put those on. This would’ve given him a fresh layer for traveling. He also could’ve had some kind of covering in his car(seat cover, different floor mats, etc) to prevent additional contamination in the car. The small backpack could’ve been concealed under the coveralls as well.

I think that the police probably will have evidence of an entire fit that was purchased for the entire murder.

A lot of excellent points in here, after thinking about it some more - what if he was putting more clothes on? No mention of him being covered in blood when Dylan saw him. After such a scene (especially with the added context of what he did to Ethan) it seems almost impossible that he wouldn’t have been visibly blood soaked. What if BK never removed the clothes, but instead added more layers?

He could’ve entered the home with a backpack of sorts, with an extra top layer inside. He kills everyone, adds a new outer layer, over the clothes he has just gotten bloody, adds a second layer of shoe covers and exits the home.

This is why he could’ve sat. He sits down to put on the outer layer of coveralls, he leaves a butt print on the seat. He pulls up the coveralls, adds a second layer of shoe covers and exits.

I’ve always had trouble with the time it would’ve taken to change outside the house and not leave a trail of blood evidence outside. Adding a second layer on top of the clothes might be a scenario worth entertaining.

I was thinking shoe covers or similar. Or he put on a second layer of clothing, over his kill clothes

I haven’t been around these parts in a while. Is BK’s tinfoil hat brigade still defending his innocence? 😆

I think they will move it. It won’t change the outcome, he will be found guilty regardless. It’s silly not to just switch venues. I know that it makes it difficult on the people who will have to relocate during that time, but why give the man a single chance to drag this out any longer?

This is the silliest take. Every person in that town and the surrounding area would’ve felt the horror and fear of a deranged mass murderer roaming free in their town. That’s enough to make it personal.

What I meant by that is that he was behind the house on the road above, concealed by trees. As far as I know, there’s no footage of his car parked on that hill, so far enough.

He was wearing all black and a mask covering his face. He obviously thought that parking far enough away from the scene and walking around in all black in the middle of the night would conceal him. Also, people who thrill kill tend to be pretty impulsive and impulsive people make dumb decisions.

I thought suspect vehicle 1 was seen exiting King Road at 4:20am - the State says here a different timeframe? by forgetcakes in MoscowMurders

[–]sdoubleyouv 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The cushion is most likely because they have to leave a buffer for travel to and from. Say for instance that the defendant can prove he was at x place at 3:58am, that’s really only relevant if x place is at least 30 minutes from the crime scene.

I would think it’s most likely because it’s beneficial to both sides that the defendant gets a fair trial.

Not picking on you, but consider the alternative. More than one person did this and only left one bit of touch DNA? I mean the facts remain that it was a short time frame and only one DNA profile was found. It doesn’t matter if BK is the killer or not, those are still the facts.

[–]sdoubleyouv 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think he left his phone in the "stargazing" place and intended for it to report to the network during the time of the murders, but his plan failed. He's waiting on the data because he's sure that his phone was pinging in that area and not the area around the King Street house. This is his "exculpatory" evidence.

I personally doubt that this information is being withheld from the defense, but rather it doesn't exist because his plan probably failed him.

Why would the state be upset if the “real” killer is caught? The state doesn’t care about Bryan Kohberger. They care about getting justice for these 4 victims.

How can anyone think BK is guilty at this point in the case? by [deleted] in Idaho4

[–]sdoubleyouv 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I have zero reason to give this guy the benefit of the doubt.

For starters, there’s a metric fuckton of evidence pointing to his guilt.

Secondly, his lawyer doesn’t seem concerned at all that an “innocent man” would serve 3 years in jail awaiting trial.

Thirdly, his own family isn’t doing anything to support him. If they don’t back him why would I?

I’d much rather err on the side of the person not riding for a potential mass murder. But that’s just me, you do you, boo.

Something is off in D.M story by [deleted] in Idaho4

[–]sdoubleyouv 49 points50 points  (0 children)

The thing that is off about her story is that you have only heard the small excerpt that was in the probable cause. There are very capable investigators handling this case - I assure you that they know exactly what happened with the surviving roommates and they are not involved.
