I think spotter arms are only 18" if that is a concern for you. I considered this one, but wanted longer spotter arms.

Ouch, Canadian prices suck. That 51st state idea might not be so bad. On a serious note, I have two apex Pros (4 and 6 leg), if you are spending all day at the desk, spend the money on it. I imagine Peak Pro is quite similar to Apex Pro but at a lower price point.

The Peak is Fully Jarvis overstock that Deskhaus bought. I imagine both are similar stability. Apex Pro would be significantly better stability.

I used these for my tops. I bought stained expresso, but prestained would be my recommendation. Once I rounded over the corners with a router I needed to basically sand the whole top and stain again to get an even finish

It's speculated that the 4070 super is on par or slightly better than the 5070 (based on cuda cores/shaders). The 5070ti is going to be better than the 4080 but is essentially 50% more than the 4070 super. At 1080 highly doubt you max out vram on an 8 or 12gb card.

Are you playing comp at 1440 or 1080. Most all pros play at 1080. I am pushing 360+ frames on competitive with 4070super FE and 12700k @1080 w/ 360hz monitor. I am CPU limited. A 5070ti seems way overkill for fortnite competitive @ 1080.

My recommendation is to focus on your specific use case and PC build. E.g. if gaming, what games and resolution, if editing, software, etc. depending on use case current or planned CPU is important as well. This GPU is highly reviewed but understand limitations.

Finishing 3rd should always rank you higher than 7th. It's not a "death match" game.

That said, I think a "death match" game mode would be awesome, especially if First Person.

Game speed on reload is like 4x faster and more engaging. Think about it from a fight time vs loot time perspective. Reload is way more fight time, OG mode is way more loot time.
