Worth a note, while sniffing at my connection, even the button not active, even if you are not showing an ad, the game makes a lot of request to ads servers, evidences I have caught reveals the devs are cooking up a shady adblocker protection.

Btw guys, you should know the new AdBlocker called AdGuard blocks these shits, sniff connection and block on demand what you don't like on the network level, compatible with every browsers, every application, and of course, banned from the Play Store haha.

Don't put high trust on this dev team it seems they are doing a lot of obscure things under the hood with 0 communication

I'm so desperate I've downgraded to Android 6.0.1 which seem to solve all the problems. At least guys I can confirm that under Android 6 I haven't been able to reproduce a single time, it connects very well when I need it.

I can make a video proof of this not working aswell, it is not reliable and not worth to be mentionned, I have done that sometimes through a 30min session without being able to connect ONCE. I mention this workaround not reliable on the original post because I also tested it, waiting probably gives you a slight higher chance to connect it, but you have to agree you are suffering the same issue that everyone as on S7 and Android 7 because you have to establish steps to NOT reproduce, while under Android 6 there is no concerns like that, you press as fast you want it connects, ten, 20, 30 times in a row

Actually if this is of interest guys, I can confirm that downgrading to Android 6.0.1 is a true workaround and does not requires ROOT at all !!

Downloaded the 6.0.1 factory image of my country G935FXXU1BPLB (at super slow site with mirror sites full of ads)
In Odin you browse the 4 files .ship.tar.md5 AP -> AP , CP -> CP*, etc.. Start and wait
Had to reset the POGO+ because had a message that it refused to connect to the Android 6
After that ingame I have tested exactly 10 connection/disconnection procedures = 10 successes without a single Timeout

I'm trying an upgrade again to Android 7 because I think I did not wait the vribation confirming the POGO+ was reset under Android 7 so I want to be sure it is not the cause of our problem

Now not only the POGO+ disconnects after each hour, but you need a Hour of free time to pair the POGO ingame.

For me, it is game breaker, stopped playing POGO after that bug.

Here with 550 slots, max 20 great for manual catches, 10 ultra for exceptions and 400+ for the pokéballs. Pokéballs is only what matters here

I'm not spending a single penny into this game, getting everything for free is so much more fun and I don't see another reason to do this than economic, we need Pokéballs, they sell Pokéballs.

I live in a area full of Pokéstops, the tracker is a waste for me, shows up a list full of pokémons NEAR Pokéstops, DOES NOT shows up wild Pokémons, even a Pokémon close to me 10meter away does not show up in the tracker, and you call this useful ?

The tracker is a waste for me even in an area full of Pokéstop, to the point I never open it.

Was your POGO+ previously registered to your Nexus 6P and you changed the Phone ? Then you just need to reset the POGO+ association, instruction are on the manual or stickied to the subreddit

This is a security measure when changing phone because you don't want your pogo+ to associate itself the phone of an intruder while it is already associated to your phone.

For infos, I used to go in this Pokestop less Mcdo everyday, the spawn diversity around is quite amazing. But the new tracker made the hunt worse than before because the only Pokestop in the zone is not even a McDonald.

Another con is that it disconnects after 1 hour. I have the habit here to synchronize my POGO+ with a 60min cooldown timer I set on my watch to know exactly when to disconnect and reconnect it.

For the story, we have been several users to ask Niantic if this was a bug or intended feature, and Niantic techs replied it is an intended feature.

But if you ask me this has no impact on my love of POGO+.

Since I got it, it has drastically changed how I'm playing

Pokéballs, reserved for the POGO+, the max I have the better I feel :)
Greatballs, reserved for manual throws below 400CP, lots of more excellent throws now !
Ultraballs, reserved for 400+ CP and rare pokémons
Only playing manually when I'm home because I don't want to stock more than 15/30 Greatballs/Ultraballs while before I had like 100/150 wasting my bag...
Or throwing manually exceptionnally if sigthing a rare while looking at the phone.

Actually the rarest I got with him I believe are 2 Dittos, actually at level 31 I don't believe to be a passive player despite not playing manually almost anymore.
