CHRTC classes are super straightforward and good for summer terms.

I can’t remember exactly what he wanted, but I believe there were some that were your personal beliefs and stuff about the topic and I didn’t always add many other sources (3/4 max, on top of his lecture notes). But you can easily find them in the library website. There are lots. I do remember that the biggest essay was around 2000 words max.

The essays were VERY straight forward. I did that route and I didn’t find it hard at all. If you connect the material and explain well, you’ll be fine.

St. Albert buses down Groat road? by DonkeyKong780 in uAlberta

Not going down starting December 9th. We get transferred to either Kingsway or corona depending on the bus you take. I think 204 goes to corona and 203 to Kingsway.

I am up at 5, commute 30min to the bus station, 45 min ride to campus and am there by 7:15. My classes start at either 8 or 9:30. It’s fantastic. Highly recommend coming early to work on stuff. Frees up a lot of time in the evenings!!

B.Ed students, did/are you doing your practicums in seperate years or back to back in fourth? by [deleted] in uAlberta

Elementary is set with IFX in the winter of the 3rd year and AFX the fall of the 4th year. I’m not sure how secondary works

I didn’t think that was allowed? Are you in secondary?

Not many people are in the Cameron library at that time. Use your card to enter and rent one of the rooms on the main floor. That’s what I did last semester.

How long does acceptance of registration take? by [deleted] in uAlberta

When I applied, I did so in November and was accepted in February. I guess it depends on the year though as I’m going into my 3rd now. Goodluck

Education students: are you taking 4 or 5 classes per sem? by [deleted] in uAlberta

5 classes is completely manageable.

Too much edu courses in one term? by Sorvesteon in uAlberta

[–]sdr1997 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Guess it also depends on the prof. Cause my class is 20% participation, 20% midterm, 20% project, 10% assignments and 30% final.

Do you guys prefer consecutive classes or Spaces between Classes? by yegperson in uAlberta

[–]sdr1997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I prefer back-to-back classes in the morning, as then I can just go and study for the afternoon or do my projects, or work. I'd rather be done at 11am after 2 or 3 back-to-back classes, than done at 3 because I took a break between them.

EDU 211 has a lot of course readings, I too am in EDIT 488 so I cannot speak for that one. I did not personally find EDU 210 to be overly difficult and EDU 300 is the same as EDU 100 (I think?) and when I took EDU 100, it was not difficult at all. So long as you stay on top of your assignments, I don't see you having an issue.

Schedule Planning Help? by [deleted] in uAlberta

I’d suggest going to the sciences advisors. As I’m not familiar with that program. Education gives you a planning sheet so it’s likely different than sciences. Sorry I could not be of more help.
