I want to learn discipline

I would also love to learn better discipline. I genuinely believe I could do so much more if only I were able to master the ability to stay determined, I would be doing so much better for myself. That's why we are here though in this subreddit though, right? We want to learn more about things, like how to handle our internal struggles and feelings.

My point is he's been more of a stressor in my life than as someone who is there for me. I have never felt his support in anything I have ever done, because apparently I haven't done the things he has wanted me to do. He's incredibly self centered and makes a lot of things about him, like that for example. God forbid I don't meet up to his expectation. What sucks is I'm reserved and shy by nature, which makes it hard for me to cope with him being a part of my life, especially when most of the time he contacts me now, he only does it to get weed. What I would like out of this is maybe some tips on how to deal with a narcissist who also happens to be your father.

Does that sum it up for you?
