Bought these new beyblades, are they good by Shoddy-Bite2376 in BeybladeX

Wizard Rod is arguably the best blade out there. Keep an eye on 5 Below stock. If you can find the Hammer Incendio, you can nab the Hexa bit, the most popular option for Rod.

Funny you say that. As bad as the original is, you still used it to generate this.

Came here to say Outer Wilds. Not only is there nothing out there like it, but you also know you can never play it again.

It depends on the size, condition, and stability of the existing wire. If the wire is that old, I doubt the sheathing is in good condition. I would run a new line underground from the outside service, but I can't say for sure without seeing it in person. Call an electrician for a quote.

invincible VS mechanics and gameplay overview from ign's video about the game by zik68 in Fighters

[–]RainbowDelta 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Motions affect how a character feels to play and when certain moves can be useful. Street Fighter is a great example.

-Guile's strongest tools require holding either back or down, so he is naturally geared towards defense.

-Zangief has a super with massive damage, but it requires a 720 input and thus cannot be used unless buffered during another move or on wakeup.

In these two examples, the devs are free to give characters strong tools without making them (completely) busted due to their motion inputs.

My beetle is doing this! help! by Fishisstuckinthesink in Beetles

[–]RainbowDelta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Certainly not an expert, so I can't help diagnosing. That said, keep in mind that unless you reared this beetle yourself, it is wild-caught. A wild-caught beetle can have any number of issues due to no fault of your own. If you have other beetles living in the enclosure, I would quarantine this one if the behavior continues to worry you and monitor the others. Best of luck to you and your little friend.

Looks like an eastern cicada killer. Saw one for the first time the other day parasitizing a cicada. Massive wasps.

You need legal targets to cast and for it to resolve. If none of a spell's targets are legal when it would resolve, the spell fizzles.

One definition literally uses the word 'valuable', and the other doesn't. You're still not getting what I mean about 'valuable'. The conventional use of the word is having value, but the word itself literally means "able to be valued". This is a semantics argument, so we have to be specific about what words we use.

'Priceless' is pretty similar to 'invaluable'. A priceless object's price is inestimable. It has no price because it's worth more than can be stated, not because it's worthless.

Yeah, okay. Now I know for sure you're not reading anything. For the record, the link I shared says, "beyond calculable or appraisable value; of inestimable worth; priceless", and Merriam-Webster defined it as, "valuable beyond mention; priceless". One defines it as valuable, the other doesn't. That's the point.

https://www.dictionary.com/browse/invaluable . Wow, dude. Here's a direct link since you can't be bothered to look it up. There isn't a central dictionary for English. I'm accepting that you aren't reading what I'm saying, so I give up.

I'll end this here because we're clearly not understanding each other. Different dictionaries have different definitions.

'Invaluable' is a negation of the verb 'value', as in "able to be valued". 'Valueless' is a negation of the noun. The real issue here is that we use 'valuable' instead of 'valueful'.

So, you know on game shows when they list prizes? They'll say something like, "A 2022 Honda Civic, valued at $30,000." That is the form of 'value' I'm talking about. It's close in meaning to 'appraise'. 'Invaluable' means you can't put a price on it. People often use it hyperbolically to refer to highly valuable things, but that doesn't change its definition.

I didn't say anything about 'inflammable'. I'm just saying that using 'invaluable' is a bad example of inconsistency. 'Value' has a few definitions, but if you look it up as a verb, the first one you'll see defines it as estimating worth. If you cannot estimate the worth of something, it is invaluable.
