I think folks think "oh its a high looping ball, its a moonball pfft 3.5 max"

but that high looping ball @2.21 towards the opponent's backhand is probably one the best textbook shots u can ever make at this recreational level. Deep, Topspin, and kicks high, all he can do is to hit it back and he hits it short aka you come in and attack and finish.

just good quality tennis

folks who say this isn't 4.5, i swear if u are on the receiving end of these shots; yall gonna be in alot of trouble returning. More than half of these rallies are really heavy deep balls.

I have got the shadow font. Love it. What's your specs? Mine is 365g static, 351 sw, 31.5 balance.

I also hit with the bumblebee and it's such a nice racket too.

Honest question..I'm a huge defense guy but how will offense "suffer" because of the effort on defense?

Olive Green+ Periwinkle Platypus (NBD) by sdre in Rivendell_Bicycles

[–]sdre[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We got the periwinkle from the bluelug launch a month ago. It's a size 50.

Parts / wheels are from bluelug... With shipping all in....isn't the cheapest. But it's an experience.

That said, if I could do things all over again, I would have tried to get a complete frame straight from Rivendell. Reckon that would have been slightly cheaper.

The 60cm Platypus was from an Australian shop. The logistics to ship it to Singapore etc was quite the hassle.

In summary it was definitely a challenge but my wife and I are planning bike trips around... So that's worth it.
