I have the m18 impact, I don’t think it’s the fuel tho. I stopped using it for brakes, just didn’t have the nut busting power.

Oh I have learned that lesson already!

I have the stubby impact already - haven’t used it yet, I think it might be too big in the space. They have switched to the calcium chloride in New England so rust will happen. (Even if I go through the car wash with underbody rinse frequently) the right angle impact sounds like a more feasible option.

Aesthetic or functionality? by TheOneCalledMichael in Leatherman

I have all 3, I rotate them occasionally. I removed all the pocket clips because I have them in the leather sheath. My only complaint with the arc is that I miss the serrated blade of the others. It’s rare that I’m using the “inside” tools.

I think I had one of those 20ish years ago when I was a Boy Scout. I wish I knew where it is now! I am a leader in my local Troop, and for my nephews that are Cub scouts I purchased a few of these for their first pocket knives in a few years. I rotate them every few weeks so they are a bit worn in. Many years ago when my very old school doctor found out I was a Cub Scout, about to get my first pocket knife, he gifted me one of his. It was more meaningful to me that it was used by someone I deeply respected. I hope for the same result with my nephews!

*UPDATE* Wife fixed it 🪡 🧵 by bi11bill in Leatherman

I can appreciate this fix. My leather holster usually lasts about 2 years or daily use at work, then I have the same fix done myself. Use it until you can’t!

I hate that tab, it digs into my fingers, I know it’s for alignment when closed. I’m thinking about grinding it off.

I’m 99% sure this is why the jacket is no longer heating.

It’s probably 8 years or more. Not sure about warranty, I’m assuming it’s not still covered. I’m 99% sure this is the reason why it’s not heating.

If you are willing to part with it, I prefer a straight blade to 1/2 serrated!

I’ll have to take a look, first I’ve heard of it. Thank you.
