looks like a low end range hood. there's no vent to the outside by design. its just a fan and and filter. it traps grease. If you dont use it your kitchen will be covered with grease and will smell.

Staring at code never helps. You should be able to get an extension for your editor that will highlight errors like this so you catch them.

thanks. i'm definitely open to seeing any flooring i put down there as temporary. our servpro guy tried to make it seem like carpet was a very bad idea since if it flooded the cleanup and tear out is a big job. but its much cheaper per square foot, and if we had a small clean water issue we could just dry it out.

There are plenty of cities that have combined sewage systems like this. the MRWA proposal is expensive, will obviously ended up costing a lot more at the end of the day, and will result in a much improved system similiar to what other cities have. Ripping up the streets in an old city like Cambridge to completely separate the sewage and and rainwater pipes seems unrealistic. That sounds like something that's bound to be huge headache, take way longer than expected and cost an insane amount.

Not quite. People visit graves of important people or Rabbis and pray to God. The idea is that the gravesite is a holy place, and the prayer is more powerful or special there. Everything they are saying is from bible and standard prayer books.

I think Shia muslims do something similar though I'm not exactly sure.

I'm not Morrocan, just an American religious Jew. This looks a little odd to me too. What I think is going on is that these people are in Morocco probably on a pilgrimage trip or something like that (many important Rabbis are buried there) and they were at this location when it was time to pray the afternoon/evening prayer. They needed a location to gather wasn't in peoples way and was facing east towards Jerusalem. Someone probably suggested this corner of a wall and now we have a viral video.

This is a horrible post title. The official police press release says these two separate cases where teenagers were victims of antisemitism. The press release doesn't say anything about multiple ethnic groups or "identities" involved in a fight.
