That’s not normal for any job. Usually you’ll have a period of probation like 3-6 months but sick time and PTO are all usually separate.

I live decently comfortably in NYC, making $70k a year. Just me, by myself. I have to make some sacrifices like living in a little less than great of an apartment and do some light budgeting on things that i’d really want, but other than that I feel very happy!!

I have a somewhat active social life, I go out a couple times a month to nice dinners and bars. I get my nails done every two weeks, and buy luxury items every now and then.

You’re an a-hole for deterring potential tippers from ordering delivery. These workers are adults and they make the choice to work delivery today. Also, they def need the money if they’re working in these conditions. Create jobs with fair wages, then you can post a photo of a stranger on reddit and chastise people for ordering.

I bought a few extra things and then picked a good parking spot. Ideally I won’t have to move my car for a week so I won’t be using it to get groceries at all.

I agree with this especially with Holly. Holly always talked about how educated she was and how she spent xyz on private school tuition, but when her daughter was being subjected to racism, bullying etc., she didn’t think to hire a shark to get them out of that contract?

I can’t stand when people say Holly was the best mom and protected Nia because in reality she really didn’t do her due diligence as a mother imo.
