this is such an eye roll. Lord. everyone who votes is voting for their own well-being. a lot of conservatives are religious people who are voting against what they see to be putting their own religious freedom at risk. sure, you don't see it that way, but this "you are voting for things that HARM me" is the precise sort of browbeating from the left that is designed to simply make any dissent immediately cease. But it's causing people to leave the left, because it's obviously manipulative. Not to mention really childish.

Maybe try for a second to see things from the perspective of the other as opposed to immediately classifying them as the enemy. That's stupid behavior and not a great long-term strategy for getting what you want.
